Happy Haunting

Today at The Sisterhood of Crafters a new challenge theme begins
and it is 'Cute Spooks'
and chosen by our very talented 'sistah' Terri.

I had lots of fun creating my cute little spooky scene.
I inked up a bit of scrap paper with TH Oxide Distress Inks,
spritzed a little bit of water, then used a circle punch to cut it out...easy!

The fence is a Spellbinders die that I won several years ago from a challenge
and was a perfect addition to the scene.
The tree is from Cheery Lynn Designs.
I cut it once from black card stock and once from a Halloween striped paper,
offsetting the black just a bit for a shadow effect.

The little owl ghost is a die from Cottage Cutz,
I think he is just the cutest little ghost.
The sentiment is one from the dollar bins you see in various stores,
stamped with Dew Drop ink Grape Jelly.
For a bit of sparkle, I added a few orange sequins.

Head on over to The Sisterhood of Crafters blog
and see all the fun 'cute spooks' my 'sistahs' have created!!

That spook is definitely cute! An owl... who'd have thought? LOVE the fence and tree, too. So cool with the designer paper and black for the tree. What fun!
