It's that time again for our monthly challenge at Word Power
where we are all about letting the sentiment take center stage!
It's an anything goes challenge as long as your sentiment is
big enough to make a statement, we don't want to see
those itty bitty ones!
Being March, I decided not only to go with a St Patrick's theme
but to use a bit of my 'neglected' stuff as well.
I chose a Sparkle N Sprinkle (retired) stamp set Irish Blessings.
Though SNS is no longer with us, the stamp 'might' still be available,
the stamp was designed by Becky Muir
and I'm not sure if she is still making/selling stamps?
The image was stamped on a Tutti Designs Nested Rectangle die, then colored in with various Copic and Altenew markers.
The sentiment was stamped with Versamark then embossed
with Ranger Princess Gold EB powder.
I have a lot of gold EB powders but this one is a very fine powder.
The background paper is from an older (2018) pad of
Doodlebug 'Lot's of Luck' paper that I have a few sheets left
and am trying to use up.
A pretty simple card but sometimes simple is good, right?

WOW! Good for you! Using up old stuff and making beautiful cards! Love that background paper and I too have an Irish Blessing wood block stamp (would be good for next WBW chlg). Beautifully done my friend!
ReplyDeleteSimple is definitely good and I should try it more often. However, this card lacks for nothing with that beautiful stamp and gold embossed sentiment and the pretty plaid!
ReplyDeleteI love your Irish hat filled with shamrocks paired with the Irish blessing! Thanks for playing along with us at JUGS!
ReplyDeleteGreat card with the Irish Blessing! The plaid paper is perfect with the wonderful Irish hat and shamrocks. Thanks for sharing with us at Path of Positivity. Katrina
