Animal Crackers Challenge

Today is a new challenge at
and our lovely hostess is Terri and she has chosen the theme of
"Animal Crackers".

A super fun and EASY challenge as I am sure you all
have some sort of an animal stamp or die!

A few months back when it still was cold and
'wintery'  here in Michigan,
I was feeling sorry for myself so went on a shopping spree.
For some reason I focused on lions, tigers, and leopards
and bought several cute stamps featuring these critters!

Out of my purchases I chose to use this adorable leopard (I call him Leo)
stamp from the  My Favorite Things Lovable Leopards stamp set.
There are 3 different leopards in this set,
plus numerous other stamps and sentiments!

I kept the card pretty simple, stamping him on a stitched rectangle
then coloring with Copics.
I added another stitched rectangle layer under him
and a paper I had won from a challenge a year or so ago!

I hope you like him as I think he is just the cutest!
Geez, how I would love to put in a HUGE order to MFT as they
have the cutest stamps!!

So, why not head on over the The Sisterhood and see all the fun
animals my 'sistahs' have created and join in with us!!

Heat Embossing Challenge

Today is my 2nd card as a new DT member for
Our theme is Heat Embossing.
Like I mentioned in my last BBB post,
I love this team as it gives me a great opportunity to use my 'stuff'
that just seems to sit and sit.

I randomly  sponged on TH Oxide inks using colors
spiced marmalade, abandoned coral, seedless preserves,
and wilted violet.

I sponged on two layers, spritzing with water in-between.

Then using Versamark
I stamped a stamp I have had for quite a few years from
Heartfelt Creations Dream In Beauty.
I heat embossed with Ranger Black Embossing Powder.

Then I had a little fun with it using
Sparkle N Sprinkle Lacey Lilac glitter
and Sticker Paper.
This is a big card, 6", but it was a large stamp!

We would love to have you join us,

A Little Bit of This and That

These are my cards featured on the Tutti Designs blog today
using the fun Fancy Top Hat die.

I made the first card into a retirement card,
making it very masculine by adding a map background paper,
distressed paper for the hat,
and mounting it on an embossed
Ribbon and the sentiment were added to complete.

The second card is a bit of fun for a birthday.
A queen of hearts embossing folder seemed the perfect
choice for this 'magical' birthday card.
Nothing like pulling a rabbit out of a hat!!!

Happy Fourth

This is my card on the Sparkle N Sprinkle blog today
using the cutest
BAXTER PUP-4th of July set!

This card probably looks more time consuming then it actually was.
It took longer to dry then anything and even that wasn't long.

I started out by first stamping my image on a stitched die cut square.
Then I positioned a Memory Box Stardust Stencil over it in various places
I did my stenciling, moving the stencil around as needed.

I set it aside to dry.

A bit of  Shimmer Powder Blue Blitz was sprinkled on on my craft mat,
then spritzed with water.
I randomly painted line son with my paint brush.
Once it was dry I embossed the entire piece with a star embossing folder.
I then also spritzed with Nuvo Mica Mist Nebula Blue.

I colored the Baxter Pup image in with Copics,
then used  SNS Dimensional Glue on the pup's muzzle and top hair,
and sprinkling with SNS  Sparkling Coffee  and Amber Wheat flocking.
The pup's nose, I added  Crystal DropsEbony Black.
The flag was colored in with Copics and Nuvo Alcohol Markers Indigo Ink markers.
I then added Nuvo Crystal Glaze  to the stars and Nuvo Glitter Marker Ember Glow
to the flag pole, then added sparkle to the entire flag using Nuvo Glitter Gloss Aqua Shimmer'

The sentiment was stamped with Versamark and embossed with
Red Apple  embossing powder.
Using  Tear-ific Tape ¼” I added the ribbon, then bow and a brad.

The glitter 'frames' were made using Tear-ific Tape ½”
around the edges and then   Gypsy Red'

Sweet

First Wednesday of the month means a new challenge theme at
Double D Challenges
and this time our theme is a color one.
Can you guess by the awesome mood board below?
I would say Teal and Red...and I am correct lol!

I have to admit this one threw me a little bit
and I was the one that created the board lol!

My card is a big 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 square with the results of the design
coming to me on one of my sleepless nights.

Using basic card stocks, a cut file and a few dies, along with a
glitter scrap of paper, it came together pretty fast.

The sweet die cut, was cut from all 3 colors of the mixer
then stacked with a peek of each color showing.
The mixer is actually from a shaped card cut file, but I used just the 'toppers'
so I could have a larger card to fit my two sets of cherries on.
I have listed all products I can with links below.

Now pop on over to the Double D and look at all the pretty
red and teal projects the design team has,
they have incredible designs as always!!

The Toast

These are my cards featured today at the
Tutti Designs blog using the

I have three different cards to share used in very different ways.
These flutes can be used not only for weddings,
but for anniversaries, birthdays, retirement and so on.

The first card is all full of gold foil goodness,
perfect for a golden anniversary!
I added the Tutti Designs Celebrate Word
which was cut form a gold glitter foam,
a few gold 'candi's' were added for even more sparkle.

The second card is fabulous not only for a wedding, but a silver anniversary as well.
After die cutting the flutes from a silver shimmer paper,
I just added  a few pretty little details as shown.

The third card is one I made for a wedding,
just by adding a few simple details, like the rose and sequins
on a pretty bridal paper made it beautiful....
sequin bubbles...how fun!!

Bubbles The Fish

Good Morning!
Today is my project I did for
The Cutting Cafe.
Every month on the 7th and 21st you can see
ALL the design team projects on
The Cutting Cafe blog, all in one place...very convenient!

We were to use one of these files:
or
or

I chose the Fish shaped card.

After using my Cricut to cut the pieces out, I ran the top piece
through an embossing folder, trying to get a 'scale' look for my fish.

VERY easy to use file, in fact I cut another while I was at it for a future use.
So mark you calendar for the 7th to see all the design team creations
and be sure to leave a comment at The Cutting Cafe Blog for your
chance to win 3 cut files of your own!
