Birthday Cupcakes

At The Sisterhood of Crafters
it is all about BIRTHDAYS
and being hosted by our lovely 'sistah' Debbie.

I did a pretty simple card using a silver glitter paper
and a birthday designer paper for my background.

I die cut a pretty CLD doily to place underneath my
Tutti Designs Cupcake Stand.
I die cut from white card stock, then colored in the wrappers
and added SNS Cloud Nine glitter to the tops.

Birthday Wishes

This is my post on the Tutti Designs blog today:

Hi, Diane with you today on The Tutti Designs blog
to share two CAS cards using the fun
Kimono Die.

I really like this die as just by changing designer papers
you can have fun~fun kimono designs.
The simplicity of this one is once die cut,
just by adding a twine bow and a sentiment it is complete.

The second card, after die cutting
a sheer ribbon bow, a few sequins, and
a flower at the waist.

Tropical Challenge

Today at Double D Challenges
we are feeling very TROPICAL with our challenge and have the fun
mood board below to get us all 'inspired'!

I lost my computer to a sudden death last week
so in getting a new one set up, I had to do an 'easy' card
(that is why when on a Design Team it is so important to work ahead..lol)

I  have lots to try and get back, when things slow down here,
but luckily the other half of DD (Darlene)
and my (partner in crime) helped me out with this photo...
thanks Dar!!

My card was made with a few Cheery Lynn Designs Tropical leaves
and all the rest came from a 'Let's flamingle' paper pad!
I just added a few sequins and a flower.

Make sure to take a peek at the Double D Challenge
to see all the FABULOUS Tropical creations from the Design Team...
you will NOT be disappointed!!

Violin Cards for Tutti Designs

This is my post on the Tutti Designs blog today

Hello, Diane on the blog today using the
Tutti Designs Violin die.

One of the fun things with these dies
you can either make it masculine or feminine like I did
just by adding a pretty background paper and a few details.

The first card, I cut the violin from a metallic paper,
then as mentioned above,
added a few fun details...
sequins, flower, ribbon and a mesh background.

The second card,
the violin was cut twice in two colors,
offsetting the one a bit under the other
giving a nice shadow effect.

Details on this one besides the detailed background paper
was simply a bow and a rose.

I hope you will give this fun die a try as it is so easy to use
but yet makes a 'pretty' statement!

It also means that at the Dies R Us challenge blog
it is an 'Anything Goes' challenge as long as you use
a die from a company that Dies R us carries.

simply die cut from white card stock
then sponged in colors using TH Distress Oxide inks
(colors and links listed below)
The leaves look yellow but trust me, they ARE green!
I added a few fun pearls to the flower centers.

The sentiment is part of the SW Garden Delight set.

Summer Sunshine

New challenge starts today at
and is being hosted by our 'sistah' Darlene.
She has chosen the theme of 'Any Occasion'
and I went with a theme of 'Summer Sunshine'.

For my card I decided to make a Popsicle shaped card.
I haven't made one in years and being the time of year it is,
I thought it would be fun.

The last one I made was an orange Popsicle
so this time around I chose to make it lemon!

Not much to it really using a few SU supplies.
I used a yellow card stock for the base,
then stamped the lemon and used a couple round punches to
punch it out and another one for a yellow layer underneath.
To set if off I used my SU scalloped punch,
then went around the scallops with a pointy tool
in each scallop.

I stamped a Hello Sunshine sentiment from the
Stampendous Spring Sentiments set.
I tied a 'snippet' of ribbon on.

So why don't you 'pop' on over to The Sisterhood
and take a peek at the fabulous designs my 'sistahs' have created...
join in with us and have some fun!!

Wedding Wishes

This is my post on the Tutti Designs blog today

Hello Tutti friends!
It's that time of year where we seem to have more
bridal showers and weddings on our schedules!

Today I have six different cards using 3 different dies
perfect for weddings and/or bridal showers.

The first set of cards uses the
Tutti Designs Wedding Dress.

I made this card pretty simple by cutting it from a white metallic paper
and adding a piece of real lace up the center.

Amazing how you can change the look
by just adding a few different colors and  flowers....
Wouldn't this also make a pretty card for
a young girl's first prom?

The second set of cards is using the
Tutti Designs Wedding Cake die.

Here is a second version of it.
Perfect for a bridal shower.

Then there is always the 'get away' car...
using Tutti Designs Wedding Car.

This card would be great to hold a little 'cash' for the honeymoon!

I hope I have given you a few ideas and LOTS of inspiration using
these fun wedding dies!
