Freezin' Season

At Can You Handle The Pressure its all about SNOW as our
'optional' theme!  You can create anything you want as long as you have used
an embossing folder!

I had three snowflake embossing folders and  chose this one with
the larger snowflakes from Tim Holtz Alterations 'Snow Flurries!

I die  cut an oval and placed a never been used before
penguin, his fish and iceberg inside  using an Xcut die.
The sentiment is from a Sparkle N Sprinkle stamp set Eskimo Kisses.

We would love to see your snowy embossed folder creations at
Can You Handle The Pressure and take a peek at all the snowy goodness
from the design teams while there!!

Candy Cane

Our last challenge of the year at Double D and it is all about

 CANDY CANES

(Red & White)

I made a nice and cozy candy cane sweater using a die from Elizabeth Crafts
that was gifted to me by a friend.
The cute paper is Doodlebug Design Milk and Cookies (2017).
I added a die cut candy cane to the front of my white sweater.

I hope you have a minute to spare during this busy holiday season and can
join us for our last Double D Challenge for 2022!!
Make sure and take a peek at all the beautiful designs from the team as well,
I am betting after seeing all the candy canes you will wish you had one yourself!!

Stitched Ornament

I am the hostess for the new challenge theme at
The Sisterhood of Crafters and I have chosen the theme of
Christmas  with traditional colors of red and green!

This year I have gotten a little hooked on some of the new
stitching dies from Spellbinders and this one is my latest!
Knowing I had this challenge coming up, I stitched it in red and green floss.
I have a few others I've done as well, including some in metallic floss!
If you haven't tried it you should as it is super easy and
quite rewarding when finished!  Even ME with my bad eyesight
can do it, so I know YOU can too!!

The greenery shown is part of the die set, the word joy is
a Cottage Cutz and the quilted background is one of my
favorite embossing folders from WeR Memory Keepers!
I also used some new Nuvo drops I had just purchased
Malted Milk, sounds good enough to eat right, but I wouldn't suggest it...hah!

Make sure to pop on over to The Sisterhood to see some really beautiful
red and green Christmas creations by my 'sistahs'!!

Two Old Bats December Halloween Challenge Mid Month Reminder

We are half way through our challenge at
Two Old Bats
and I am sure being December we won't have a lot of players
but take a break from those other holiday cards and join in with us!!

As always we have a fun inspiration/mood board for you
but it can be anything as long as it is Halloween!!

 Inspiration Board

I had purchased some fun and cute ephemera and a paper pad from Memory-Place
Halloween in Dreamland and created this fun card
with that letting the bottom left corner of the board inspire me!

We would love to have you join us at Two Old Bats
and see all the fun and spooky inspiration there!!
