Baby Card

 I needed some baby cards for my sale boxes
and made a few christening gown cards.
I did them all in white and saw where AAA Cards had a white on white
challenge so entered my card there, worked out perfect for me!

This is a CAS challenge so hope my WOW card meets the challenge as
it surely was 'simple' enough using a Cottage Cutz die, a Tutti Designs
word die and an embossing folder!
It does have a lot of white space , simple simple LOL!!

The others are just the same but different EB folders were used!

Sketch 718

 Hello All, I have some fun and exciting news to share!
I am the newest member of the Sketch Saturday challenge
and am looking forward to this team as it will take me out of
my 'comfort zone' which is exactly what I need!!
Do you ever feel like all your cards begin to look alike even when they don't?
That's how I have been feeling lately so being part of a sketch challenge
I am hoping will take that feeling away!

Here is our awesome fun sketch for the next two weeks:
There is also a twist if you want to add a bit more challenge to yourself
and this time it is LOVE~ROMANCE!

For my first card I pretty much followed the sketch and the twist
creating a fun 'love' snowman card.
I used an Impression Obsession Snowman set that I have had for 
quite sometime.  It felt good to pull it out and use it again!
Once I had him stamped I fussy cut him out, could of used my Scan N Cut

but thought the pieces were pretty tiny for that!
The other dies, octagon, larger hearts and the Love word are all from Tutti Designs,
the little hearts were punched with a SU heart punch.

Can You Handle The Pressure Borders

 Hello my friends, it's time for our second challenge of the month at
Can You Handle The Pressure where you are to use an
embossing folder.  Wet embossing is permitted but you MUST 
use an embossing folder too!

Our optional theme this time around is 'BORDERS'.
You can use any kind of border you want as long as
you have also used an embossing folder too.
But remember borders are just optional,
our challenges are always anything goes as long as an
embossing folder is used!!

As usual, I went with the optional theme
as I like having a starting point!
For my border I used a pretty Sizzix Handkerchief border
embossing folder, it's so delicate and pretty!

I also die cut a Marianne die and added some flowers
I created using  Pretty Pink Posh Spring Foliage dies .
The sentiment is from The Greetery.

Winter Wishes

 Our new challenge at The Sisterhood of Crafters theme is
Brrr, It's Cold Outside
and being January here in Michigan, that is is!

For my card I inked a background in Distress Oxide uncharted mariner.
The snowflake is Tonic's Winter Snowflake.
I like it's big lacey look!
I saw a pretty layout on Pinterest HERE for my idea
as after the holiday's my brain can use all the help it can get lol!
Plus, I just LOVE using Pinterest for inspiration!

I stamped a sentiment from the Pretty Pink Post Winter Sentiments set.

Snow Challenge

It's a 'snowy' themed challenge at Double D and we have a  
a snowy mood board for inspiration!

I let the bottom right corner inspire me with the polar bear snowman!

I used a Creative Expressions Christmas Characters die set using the bear die.
It also has a reindeer which I have used before and a winter fox
which I haven't, he will be next!
After completing my card I added my 'snow' using
Nuvo Glitter Drops White Blizzard!
All the die cuts shown are part of the Christmas Characters die set.

Floral Happy Birthday

Happy Tuesday, hope you have a creative day today!

I saw this sketch at Atlantic Heart Sketch Challenge
and knew I had the perfect pieces to put together a card! 

For the background I used a couple of pieces of vellum
and a doily I already had precut in my stash just waiting to be used!
The flowers and most of the greens are from Spellbinders Bold Blooms,
also already premade.
I die cut a Honey Bee banner and stamped the
sentiment  from Pretty Pink Posh.
This came together pretty fast since I had most of the pieces already

precut and ready to use! 

No DT work today, just a card for fun for a change!!

Blue and Brown Florals

Well hello there, it is our FIRST challenge at the NEW 
Beautiful Blossoms challenge blog and
Donna has a beautiful mood board for inspiration,
all that pretty blue and yummy chocolate brown color!

For my first card for the challenge

I used a pretty Prima paper from the Nature Lover 6 x 6 pad
and a stamp set from Altenew Fabulous Florets.
The sentiment is also from Altenew's Sentiment Strips 2.

The new challenge is all about flowers and who doesn't LOVE beautiful flowers?
