Grow Your Blog Party

Welcome to my blog!!!
Diane here with you today on my blog "Nellies Nest"....
My blog name came from my love of my Goldendoodle "Nellie"
She is my right hand "girl" never leaving my side and always glad to be close by!!


The other 3 characters that share my space with me are my 3 kitties
Chloe, Tessie and Soot...all 3 are rescue kitties!!


I live in the beautiful, but extremely  cold (right now) state of Michigan.
I hope you will grab a cup of coffee and browse through my blog.....



I have many, many interests, way too many to share.....
But my main 3 are paper crafting, gardening and sewing!

I want to share a bit of my world with you !
I am on a Design Team for my paper crafts with a wonderful group of girls
you can see my
 work there weekly if you would like to visit.


I spend most of my days this time of the year creating a few things, such as shown below!


When the weather permits, you will find me with my other "love"
in my flower gardens.....take a walk through them if you would like.



Once in awhile, I will have visitors to my gardens,
like Gardens Fairies and such.




I also love to "craft"...my favorite making things from "vintage" linens.

    Vintage Linens...did you say Vintage Linens!!!! I love working with Vintage Linens. Oh, it looks cold there and it is cold here as well...I am ready for days like those in the photos of your lovely garden.

    I'm in MA, so I share your weather to some extent...and find myself looking back at pictures of my garden to remind myself of warmth and color :)

    I'm from Michigan also and we have lots of snow and cold wind today. Burrr. But your cards are beautiful, along with your garden and your sewing. How do you find time for all of it? I struggle with just the cards I make. The sewing lays to the side, undone. Edna

    I enjoy making cards too - often from my garden photographs - much more personal than a store bought one.

    Enjoyed looking at your creations and learning about you. I don't have a dog but I do have 5 cats, so I can certainly relate to that silly cartoon! Your gardens are absolutely gorgeous! And your cards and crafts are beautiful, too. Just became a new follower.

    Hey, I loved this post, Diane! First, it's so good to see Nellie right up there front and center. She is so sweet and loving. Got to say your garden astounds me.
