Summer Shaker

This is my card on the Tutti Designs blog today

Hi there, Diane with you today
using another fabulous Tutti Designs die.
This one is Butterfly Corner.

I really wanted to let the die be the 'star' so to speak
and decided what better way then a shaker card!

I started by cutting a 3 1/2" x 3 1/2" square from a 4" x 5 1/4"
piece of  designer paper (my card is an A2 size).

A little tip as noted below is to pile your shaker pieces
in a pile in the middle of the piece that will be the backing
for your shaker (mine is the card base itself).

Carefully adhere your clear piece that you have mounted
with the double sided foam tape to your base
over your 'pile' of shakers.

Using a very small amount of glue on your die cut
(the old saying 'less is more is true here),
adhere your Butterfly Corner to the top left corner of your shaker.

Pretty easy shaker card and also pretty don't you think?

I am loving the what I call citrus colors of lime and grapefruit!

Make sure and check out all the great places to
visit the new Tutti Designs dies.

Thank you for visiting with me today.....
"I" will be here each and every Thursday!!
Come back tomorrow for more fabulous inspiration!

Happy creating!
Diane

  3. This makes a MOST beautiful shaker! I love that butterfly corner and the sweet little flower sequins. They're a perfect match to your ribbon. I need to use more ribbon. You wouldn't believe my collection. Some super pretty and unusual ones, and I hardly use them, tsk tsk. Hard to resist, though.
