with our assigned theme.
This time we were to choose

I chose some yummy 'Granny Smith' apples for you today!
I had so much fun making these apple shaped cards.
My first apple is made from a fun plaid paper
I picked up while shopping at a scrapbook store
with my visiting friend Dar.
We both left that store with bags of goodies!!
I used a Cheery Lynn Designs French Pastry doily die
(cut in half, the other half is on the apple below)!
A bow was added with ribbon from RRR and a wood owl button was tied on.

The second apple is made from green card stock
that resembles the exact color of a granny smith!
I once again used ribbon from RRR and tied a wood
flower button on.

Oh, my word, I love these apples! Especially the one in plaid. And with the doily on top and the owl -- too cute! The green Granny Smith looks exactly like a Granny Smith and so very edible. Mmmmm, they make the best pies and applesauce. Love that one with the yellow bow and the flowery flower. The yellow and white and green is an absolute favorite color combo of mine. So fresh and yummy!
