County Fair

It's County Fair time at Dies R Us challenges!
Come visit the challenge blog and see
all the fun 'county fair' inspiration!

I had a couple ideas rolling around in my head
for this one and settled on my farm animals die.
The die I used is
Die-Versions Sweet Petites Farm Animal Border.
(colored with some Copics)
The entire card was built around that.

I started with cutting a gingham hill background using
Lawn Fawn Stitched Hillside Borders,
adding the animal border to that,
then Impression Obsession Grass Border .

Some calico
Impression Obsession Clouds and a few sequins
were added to the top of the card.

And, of course you can't have a county fair without a
blue ribbon!
I made my ribbon using
and the smallest circle from
Die-Versions Stitched Nesting Circles
and a rosette.
However, you could use X-cut Rosettes.

  6. Well, this is certainly out of the box and I love it. The patterned clouds and hillside are brilliant and the parade of animals in the grass is perfect for this theme not to mention the first place prize which this card deserves.
