Welcome Baby

It's the first of the month and that means a start of a new challenge at 

Our theme is Life Event.
I chose to make a baby card for a boy for a change
as I seem to make so many 'girlie' cards!



I started with a quilted background
which I thought was perfect for a baby!

I next cut the largest of the nesting stars using

I added the word baby using
I used Versamark on the word, then coated it with
Indian Spark embossing powder.
This is one of those EB powders that has glitter in it...so pretty!



Since I seem to have a love for little 'ellies',
I chose to use Tonic Studios Elephants for my focal point!

To make it have a bit more 'celebration', I added a banner using

  1. Oh this is beautiful! From the quilted background to the sweet gingham elephants! Although I am partial to baby girl cards this season, wink, wink, I do adore your sweet baby boy card! I also love that swirly banner die cut over your star too! Well done!

  2. This is SO pretty and just adorable! LOVE all the baby blue elements ... gingham elephants, star designed star ... and of course that beautifully embossed background. Ooops ... don't want to forget that 'sparkly' sentiment! BEAUTIFUL creation Diane!!
