Frames

I am the hostess today at
The Sisterhood of Crafters
for our first challenge of 2018!
I chose the theme of 'Frame It'
meaning you have to have some sort of frame
on your creation somewhere...easy peasy.

I decided to make a somewhat CAS card
with a stamp set I just love from Sparkle N Sprinkle
called Spring Sprigs which isn't in store anymore.

I stamped the leaves with Memento Dew Drops Bamboo Leaves ink
and the flowers with Nuvo Hybrid Ink Metro Grey.

I layered a Tutti Designs cross Stitch Nesting Squares die to make my frame.

The sentiment is from Stampendous.
I also added a little hemp bow.

Why not pop on over to
The Sisterhood and see what the
sistahs' have created to inspire you...join in with us!!

  1. Hello my friend... I hope you are well... Sorry I haven't been around much... I should have had surgery by now but it got canceled when I got a cold! It's back on for next week though.
Your card is beautful and I hope to be able to get back to 'normal' in a few months... Thinking of you

  4. I love frames! So many challenges I'd like to play, so little time in my stamp room. Just made a frame card yesterday, but it has to wait. This is so beautiful with the leaves stamped down the side. I love how you placed the frame over the image to sort of spotlight it. Pretty flowers and coloring!

  9. Hi Diane, what a lovely card! Those stamped and coloured images are absolutely beautiful and even left like that would have made a great card. You've definitely brought it up a level into a "wow" card by adding that lovely cross-stiched frame. Great addition. That and the adorable little bow make such a difference. Thanks so much for joining our Watercooler Wednesday Challenge this week.
