Off To The Races Challenge

Today at Double D our challenge is all about
The Kentucky Derby!
We have a fun 'mood board' to get you inspired and have some fun!
You don't have to have a hat,
you can use anything you see on the board to inspire you..
colors, flowers, horses, feathers...just go with it!


For my card I made a very different one for me.
I have had this Deep Red stamp forever and it is the first time
I have used it.

I used SNS Gold fine embossing powder, stamped in Versamark first of course.

Not a lot to this card as the embossing did all the work,
I did stamp it on vellum, then did a slight bit of coloring on the back
to her face and eyelid,
other then that I think that was all she needed.

The design team has come up with awesome creations once again,

    That stamp is magnificent! And embossed in gold, Oh My! What an elegant look and then topped with that beautiful teal flower....WOW!

    WOW! This is amazing! Beautiful job on the embossing and LOVE that striking blue flower/feather embellishment! GREAT job! (love that horse paper in the background too ... very creative)

    This is a pleasing golden beauty of a card. That image is so regal and looks just like the classy people that you see at the derby. There are so many great inspired cards for this month. Aren't you proud of the team?

    Dang, Diane! My first thought was WOW, but I keep saying that. This card really deserves it, though, so here goes... WOW! What a cool stamp! Way different and that's what I love about it. Fantastic with the embossing. Great card!
