Happy Birthday

 It's time for a new challenge theme at 
The Sisterhood of Crafters and it is
EMBOSSING.

My friend Dar (and she is also one of the 'sistah's)
gifted me a couple 3D embossing folders for my birthday
and this is one of them.

It embosses so beautifully,
A little hint with the 3D folders is to spritz your card stock
before embossing to prevent cutting into the detail.


I got out some very old Pebbles Cream chalk 'paints'
and colored the embossed image .

I had the die cut banner and the vellum butterfly
already in my stash so added those to the card front.
I think by coloring in the image it takes the embossing folder to a whole new level!

    You've really made this embossing folder sing! Your coloring is PERFECT! Thanks for the 'spritzing' tip ... didn't know that! Love the addition of the banner & butterfly! PERFECT!
