Bluebird Birthday


 

Hello and welcome to another challenge at
Dies R Us
where our theme is always ANYTHING GOES!

I think I was in the quilting mood this month
since I have used quilting dies for my cards.

I LOVE this pretty die and the beautiful stitching on it
and it die cuts in two pieces allowing you to
die cut in a few different ways.

The die is Impression Obsession Quilted Frame.
I die cute in both pink and white card stock
giving me the reverse colors for another card.
Happy Birthday was stamped on the oval
then I added a barberry die from ScrapMan dies
which was paper pieced for the berries.

I added two of the cutest plump bluebirds
form Poppystamps Whittle die collection 'Whittle Birds'.

Dies R Us now has a sister store with warehouses in the USA and Canada called Didi Crafts.  

It will ship to both the US and Canada.  Didi Crafts will carry some of the same products as DRU, but most will be different.  Now our Canadian friends don't have to worry about huge taxes or shipping fees. How great is that!?!

    This is so sweet Diane! I have that frame and just love it too! Those little birds are perfectly plump and they add a touch of whimsy to your bright and cheerful card.

    Aww, what a sweet card. Those lil birds are adorable. Love the beautiful paper and the lovely frame die. The red from your paper piecing really pops. Beautifully done, my friend.

    Oh, my, this is such a pretty card! I do love the quilted die and the pretty paper in the background. I recently bought the Whittle birds. I know they'll come in handy. They sure are cute on your card!
