Among Nature

Are you ready for a walk in the woods?
That is what our theme is at Double D Challenges,
anything you might see on a walk in the woods!
We have a fun mood board for a few great ideas but the choices
are endless!

Where I live we have a woods on our property and see many many different
creatures a lot.  One in particular is a doe with her twin fawns, one year we even had one with triplets!
So, that was my decision, fawns, I originally was going with a squirrel but knew I had these
cute little fawn stamps I had never used.
They are Craft Consortium Best Friends and Little Fawn Stamp sets!
The sets also have creatures such as a mouse, fox hedgie, squirrel, bunny, bird and a stump and a mushroom!  So CUTE!!

I used Lawn Fawns grass and cloud stencils with some various Dew Drop inks ,
I also masked the fawns and used a gold metallic paint and spattered the card!
The sentiment is from Fun Stampers Journey at Spellbinders 'Spirit Animals'
another great stamp set!

So, why not take a 'Walk In The Woods' with us at Double D,
the design team has some really cute and fun designs from their 'walks'...do go and check them out!

  1. OMG what a precious scene you have created with these fawn. Yes you have the perfect location for watching wildlife and I'm so happy I've personally had the opportunity to see through that big beautiful window of yours that looks out across that fabulous creek into the meadow and see them for myself! This is beautiful ... love your cloudy background too ... well done!!

  6. Oh my goodness! these little fauns are so cute and you have done a wonderful job on this card. Love your clouds. You just needed some inspiration and you got it where you live. If I had done that, you may have seen an alligator on my card. Lol

  7. Awwww, love this challenge and your card is darling! I've been intrigued by these Craft Consortium stamps but have never tried them. They sell them at 123 Stitch. Maybe I'll have to go look again. You did a really sweet card with them. Sort of magical. Living on the edge of the woods we always have critters in our yard, too.
