Get Ready For Winter

Are you ready for some fun??
At Double D our theme is  
Get Ready for WINTER
and we have a fun mood board for inspiration!


I focused on the upper left corner, the steamy hot drink on a cold winters day!
I pulled out my much loved Pretty Pink Posh Winter Mug die
and a 3D embossing folder from Sizzix and set to work.
I filled my mug with a pine tree marshmallow, a glittery snowflake and
a couple of roasted marshmallows.
Of course I had to keep my cup warm
so I wrapped it with a die cut scarf from the PPP 
Fall Mug Additions die.

    This scarf wrapped cup is just as sweet as can be, all decked out for winter. The embossed background is the perfect starting point for the wintery blue mug filled with Christmas cheer. This is just adorable, Diane. Happy Thanksgiving to you~

    This is fun & awesome. Love the embossed background (perfect) and of your you mug of hot chocolate is adorable with it's scarf and snowflake. Love the 'toasted' marshmallows! Clever

    That scarf on the mug made me smile! Such a fun idea and a hot cup of chocolate is a good idea too. Here I am in Florida, wishing I had that hot cup now. Air conditioning is cold!

    A steamy, hot drink on a cold winter's day is great and adding marshmallows makes it perfect! Love the scarf warmer tied around the mug. Winter is coming...
