This post is more personal then I would normally do
but my grandson graduated from University of Michigan with his masters
in Kinesiology Master of Science Sport, Sport Management.
It's pretty awesome to me as 10 years ago he had a spinal injury
that placed him a wheel chair when he was 15, hard for any
teenager to accept, but he persevered and ended up in a
wheelchair tennis program at UOM where he finished out his year as
the National wheelchair champion, a HUGE accomplishment.
I created this card using an image from my Cricut in his school colors. I was quite pleased that Cricut had perfect images for this sport!!
His celebration was May 2nd at the Notre Dame campus, which he well deserved

Caiden is such an inspiration!!! Congrats to him for all his accomplishments so far (he's still headed for greater things) and what an awesome, personalized card you created for him! GREAT job my friend!
ReplyDeletethis is a great creation and story, thank you for sharing with us at Alphabet Challenge
ReplyDeleteI remember when his injury happened, shocking, traumatic, and life changing, but Caiden rallied and look at him now. I'm a little bit choked up. This young man has a fabulous life ahead of him. I think he comes from good genes. You made the ideal card for him and I'll bet he keeps it forever and ever!
ReplyDeleteWow, what an awesome achievement and he's such an inspiration. I'm so glad you found this image and was able to create something so wonderful for him. Thanks for joining my theme at The Alphabet Challenge. Love Dawn x
