Crafty Secrets September Linky Party Challenge

The first Monday of the month brings us to the September linky party challenge
This is the time of the month where the entire design team gets together with
wonderful creative projects and tutorials to tell you how they were created!

This  month our theme is Too Cute To Spook !!!



I chose a fun witches hat.
To start I printed a few Halloween papers from


In my stash of crafty goodies I found a paper mache cone.
which I coated with Modge Podge.


Then quickly added the paper, smoothing out the wrinkles as I went.



I adhered a piece of my paper to a cardboard piece, 
then using a saucer, traced around it, then cut it out.



I then adhered the two pieces together, forming the witches hat.


Next just decorate as you want.  
I made a Rosette with a star button center,
added a few paper embellishments from 
A bow, trim, spider, bone all from my crafty stash.




And here is the finished creation!

  9. Just happened to find that cone, huh? You have a very interesting and eclectic collection of crafty ephemera and findings. This is sooooooooo CUTE! Love all the bits and pieces you added. I mean, you just happened to have a bone, too? Sheesh!
