Tools Tools and More Tools

This is my post on the Tutti Designs blog today.

Hi Tutti Fans, Diane with you today using the fun~fun die 'TOOLS',

This is such a fun die set great for 'guys' but works just as well as for us ladies too!
You know how sometimes 'us girls' just have to 'take care of things ourselves'..LOL!

The first card I die cut from a gray metallic paper
and added to a little denim pocket.

The second card was cut from same paper as above,
but I then cut again from red metallic and added
to a 'cork board' paper!

Last card I also used the Stitched Nesting Round Circle
to place my tools on...how fun are these?

All the sentiments were computer generated.
I surely hope I have given you some great ideas and inspiration for these fun tool die cuts!!

Vintage Rudolph Tag

Wow...I haven't been in my creative room in almost over a week
and I have so much to catch up....
commenting~creating and more!!

But for today I have this cute little tag
I made in the wee hours of the night last week.

This adorable little vintage baby Rudolph came from some baby shower
center pieces I created for our forest themed shower.
So what to do with so many little deer?
I dis-assembled them and created tags.

Here is the sweetest little baby from the shower...
my newest great granddaughter
Everlie Quinn

Little Miss Everlie came to visit me yesterday...
born December 3rd ( our second Dec 3rd grandbaby)
weighing in at 7#'s 14oz!

I also have another snowflake card I created,
this time in blues.

The blue card base has  a sticky paper underneath the snowflake
and I added a blues texture glitter to it.

I am entering this card in the Mod Squad non-traditional Christmas colors challenge!

25 Days of Christmas With Paper Sweeties Day 5

Have you been following
Paper Sweeties 25 Days of Christmas?
It is FULL of fabulous inspiration and fun!!
Today is MY day to showcase what I have created!

I love making tags for my gifts I give out....
some are simple, some quite fancy and some in between!

Today I have a 'trio' of tags ALL using Paper Sweeties products...so FUN!
All the links are given below.

The first tag I made using Stitched Tags #1 and the matching Sweet Cuts dies for the base,
I added a piece of card stock for color,
just by trimming around it
The adorable cupcake and sentiment are from the Homemade With Love
stamps and dies.

The second tag uses both stamps and dies from Homemade With Love.
I just cut a circle and embossed with a snowflake EB folder...same for the sentiment.

The third tag, completing my trio was created
by using a sentiment and die from the
Merry Christmas Y'all stamp and die sets.

Keep following each and everyday through the 25th for lots more inspiration
using Paper Sweeties Stamps and Dies.

I will be back on the 12th and 19th with more fun creations...
see you then!!

Three French Hens

Double D challenges has a fun one....

Twelve Days of Christmas
Days 1-6

1st Day Partridge In a Pear Tree
2nd Day Two Turtle Doves
3rd Day Three French Hens
4th Day Four Calling Birds
5th Day Five Golden Rings
6th Day Six Geese A Laying

Though the title is Christmas, it doesn't have to be,
just need to use something from the mood board.

I went with the three French hens.
I have had this stamp forever and it has never seen ink from me
and I haven't a clue where I got it OR whose stamp it is
but it does say  on one end
'Good Stamps Stamp Good'
so I am assuming that is the name of the company.

I used a Graphic 45 12 days of Christmas paper,
colored in my hen,
then thought it needed more (plus I wanted to try and cover up a few 'boo boos',
so I mixed up some water and glue,
spattered it on, then covered it with glitter, shaking the excess off.

It's a pretty fun challenge and the DT has once (as always) outdone
themselves again, so I hope you take the time to pop on over to
Double D and check us out and we would love to have you join us...
there is always badges and a random prize to be won!!

Birthday Presents

This is my post on the Tutti Designs blog today.

Hi there, Diane with you today using the Tutti Designs die
Birthday Presents.

I have shown it as  birthday cards,
but just think how pretty it would be for a Christmas card as well!

For my first card, I die cut it from glitter card stock, then added a pretty
Rose on the bow.
this card could just as easily be for a wedding or wedding shower card too!

The next card was die cut from black card stock,
then I placed scraps of paper behind each present
then die cut a second time from a gold metallic paper
and trimming off just the bow to add a bit of 'fancy' trim!!

I hope I have given you a few ideas and a whole lot of inspiration using this  die!

Winter Whites at Dies R Us

Today at Dies R Us Challenge blog
a new challenge/theme begins and it's
Winter Whites.

Design Team Member At

I love the look of all white cards,
but they sure are hard to photograph and capture all the beauty.

I made a pretty simple card by starting with a snow embossing folder
as my base.

I die cut the Tutti Designs Ice Crystal Fir (all links given below)
then painting on glue then  'smothering' it with white glitter.

Here is a closer view that maybe you can see the sparkle a bit more.
A tip when done glittering and it's dry is to spray
it lightly with hair spray, which really keeps the glitter in place.

I also added a white deer from the Impression Obsession Small Deer set.

Here on the links to the dies I have used.

Pine Trees

and I picked the theme of 'TREES'.

I have been in awe of the layering stamps lately
and had purchased this stamp LAST winter
and it's the first time it has seen ink...bad me!!

It is the Hero Arts Color Layering Christmas Tree.
It has 4 layering stamps.
I watched a video by Jennifer McQuire using
this same stamp and followed her technique
which is on the last (4th layer)
you use Versamark and a white embossing powder
to make it look like snow.

I was so intrigued by this that I created a second card
but this time instead of the just the white embossing powder,
I used one that had glitter in it too
which gave it an entirely different look.

The sentiment in both cards are part of the Hero Arts set.
All products used are listed below.

So pop on over to The Sisterhood and feast your eyes
on some super fun 'trees' by my 'sistahs'!!
