Paper Sweeties October 2019 New Release Rewind!

It is Rewind Time and
Day 3 already of Paper Sweeties October Release ,
which just happens to be a Fall/Winter Sweet Kit!
All the links can be found below for your convenience

I finished our Day 3 with a fun card using one of the stamp/die sets from the kit
Hot Chocolate Season.
I stamped the sweet image then cut it out with it's matching die
and just look at what a pretty cut it is!
I colored in all the snowflakes with a silver glitter pen and the rest with Copics,
then stamped the sentiment inside.

I also added a die cut tree from Sweet Cuts Merry Christmas Y'all
then stamped it with those adorable little chocolate mugs from the
Hot Chocolate Season set.
Each mug water colored in a bit with a silver glitter pen,
I also added silver to each snowflake center, it has a lot of sparkle!

Silhouettes

Today at Double D it is all about
SILHOUETTES.

We even have a fun mood board to give you
lots of inspiration...easy peasy!

Talk of 'easy'
I have a very easy silhouette card I made by using a file from my Cricut.

This file cut my silhouette in 4 different pieces.
I cut the train from a black textured paper.
The sentiment is from Elizabeth Craft Designs.

I certainly had plenty of 'things' I could of used for this challenge
but settled on my Cricut.
I kind of like it...something different for me!

and popped it up on the cutest tags made with
Sweet Cuts Stitched Tags #1

The Hot Chocolate came from
Hot Chocolate Season Stamp set...
of course I stamped a tiny pumpkin as well!
I also added a gold glitter pen to the flowers in the coffee cup for some sparkle
which can be seen better IRL.

BOOOOgie Nights

I was a Guest Diva!

Hey All, I am guest designing at
Die Cuttin Diva's this week and the theme is
'MONSTERS'!

I have the cutest Halloween card  I made
using 3 different dies,
two of which are a first time use!

I die cut my 'Frankie'  FIVE times to give me all the colors I wanted.
I die cut first in black, then stuck him on a sticky paper
making it somewhat easy (I say somewhat as I did a few stupid things)
to just piece the other colors in....fun!!

The Boogie Nights die comes with a shadow die,
making it super easy to place the words on.
I couldn't help myself and had to add the google eyes,
as each of the O's had a place for them.

The tree die cut has the owl and skunk as part of it's die cut,
and cuts others as well, one big die...
so couldn't resist adding the skunk to my spooky scene,
and gave him a bit of white with a white pen.

So,that is my monster card and I am so glad I finally got to use Frankie!!

Thank you Die Cuttin Diva's for having me guest design!!

Birdhouse Garden

This is my post on the Tutti Designs blog today.

Hello Tutti fans, Diane with you today sharing a couple cards using the
Birdhouse Garden die.

I die cut the die first from white card stock,
Then cut two of the birdhouse again from scraps of designer paper,
and paper pieced them on.
I colored the grass in with Copics.

I added a few embossed clouds and a stamped sentiment,
the little skunk you see is actually part of the background paper.

For the second card, I die cut from white card stock
then paper pieced all three birdhouse from bright scraps of paper.
The flowers and stems were colored with Copics, as well as the grass.
I added three little birds.

By visiting the store HERE, you can see a third sample I created using this die.

Michigan Apples

It's a new challenge theme at
Dies R Us challenge blog and it's
Apples and/or Pumpkins.

I, of course choose to go with apples for my card

Here in SW lower Michigan we are known for our veggies and fruit trees
and especially apples!

I used Impression Obsession Bushel of Apples
and filled the first basket with Red Delicious,
 the second with Granny Smith,
and the third with Honey Crisp!!

The sentiment is Tutti Designs Word Set Hello
and the Tied Strings is from Frantic Stamper.
