Leaves Corner

I have been a BAD girl and been neglecting my craft room and blog....
I haven't been on my computer in a few weeks and had these ready (almost)
to post awhile back.....
these two cards were made for the Tutti Designs store using the
Leaves Corner die.

I love this corner die as it is so pretty...
and I think it can be used year round just by changing the colors and papers!
Back tomorrow with a few more...see ya!!

The Recipe

Trying to get my mojo back after my Mom passed away
has been extremely difficult for me.

That being said, Dar from Dar's Crafty Creations
has challenged me to a challenge to maybe 'prod' me into creating.
She also let me pick the challenge.
So in scrolling through Paper Playful,
I came across the challenge at Tuesday Throwdown
which is a 'recipe' challenge.

The recipe is to use two embossing folders, an image and a sentiment.

For my card I used a fun little stamp that was one of those $1 ones
you see in the craft stores (sentiment is part of it too)
and by using my Tim Holtz stamp platform and Dew Drop ink
Nautical Blue, I was able to get a nice clean image for my card.

My two embossing folders are both
edge folders, one is Sizzix Lace Handkerchief and the other
a flower edge.

For a little bit of bling I added 3 blue pearls.

Now make sure and visit Dar's blog to see her fun~fun creation.
Let's hope this will get me motivated,
this is the first I have been on my computer and in my craft room in weeks!

Deck The Tree Cards

These are my cards on the

Hi, Diane here with a few fun Christmas Cards.....
after all it is time to be thinking of getting those
Christmas cards created!

I have three cards today all using the fun Tutti Designs die

You might also noticed that on each card  I also used the
Tutti Designs Stitched Nesting Circles.
This die fits perfectly with (or within) the circle die.

For the first card I die cut from a green metallic paper
and added it to the top of a stitched circle cut from a fun
Christmas paper.
I did a red card stock layer, designer paper layer, then the
two die cuts on top.
I added a pretty plaid bow/ribbon and tied with a jingle bell.

For the second card, I layered two stitched circles on designer paper.
The deck the tree die was cut from white card stock,
and if you look closely,
you can see I added Nuvo Crystal drops to the trees.
I tied a piece of ribbon, twine and a jingle bell on.

The third card was once gain layered,
Designer paper, stitched circle with the die cut on top
cut from a red metallic.
I stamped the sentiment on the bottom half,
then added Dew Drops for fun and texture.

I hope I have inspired you to create some Christmas cards of your own!

Squirrel Scene

Halloween is behind us and we are moving on to
a bit more Fall before we hit Thanksgiving/Christmas
so I have decided to 'squeeze' in a few more Fall cards
over the next few days that I had created for the
Tutti Designs store but never posted.

Today I am featuring the cute little 'squirrel scene' die.

I am not going to go into a lot of details as it is pretty obvious by
just looking you can tell I used some fun designer papers on each.

First card I just added a fun flower and leaves.

Next card is more papers and a twine bow.

Last card, again very basic!

Thanks for looking,
in the next few days I have a few more, then moving onto to
my Tutti Designs Christmas!!
