Hello friends, it's time for our challenge today at
Can You Handle The Pressure where it is all about using your
embossing folders. Wet embossing is permitted by you MUST use an embossing folder.
We have an OPTIONAL twist of LUCKY/ST PATRICK"S
but we are an anything goes with the use of the folder.
I used my Darice St Patrick's Shamrock folder on
coredinations Core Color paper (do they still make that?) and sanded it.
I couldn't find my sanding block so had to use a sand file so didn't
get as smooth a sand as I had wanted. I die cut two shamrocks and layered
one on the other and a Tutti designs 'lucky' sentiment.
Hope to see YOU over at Can You Handle The Pressure!!

I really enjoyed seeing your creative use of the Darice St Patrick's Shamrock folder! The way you layered the shamrocks and added the 'lucky' sentiment gives it such a charming touch. The sanded effect adds an interesting texture and depth.
Girl ... do you have embossing folders for EVERY occasion? lol What a fabulous card and love your focus shamrock in the plaid ... very creative with the big Lucky sentiment! Awesome card!
What a marvelous use of GREEN! Diana, the white "shadows" behind your clover leaf looks incredible, especially with the sanded embossing. Great St. Patrick's Day card!

Wowie, this is so cool! I LOVE it! I tend to hoard my Core'dinations cardstock because I don't know if they still make it. Most of mine is Stampin' Up, and they discontinued it quite a while ago. I really like the effect.
I love the effect of sanding the core color papers. Super fun card!
Wow, I love the way the sanding adds a whole new look to the embossing, I first though you had used a white glitter pen! Love that LUCKY die too!
