This is our inspiration board for this week
and the challenge is
Aqua and Coral

Hi, Diane with you today.
Before I share the details of my project
I just wanted to say that this is my last creation
for Classy Cards'n Such as a Design Team member
and want to thank Beverly for having me on the team
for the last few years!
Also to say that I loved working with the girls on
the team and I hope to see you all around 'blogland'!

For my last project I thought it would be fun to create a cute
little pillow box using Lawn Fawn Pillow Box die.
This was so simple to make, I could sit and make dozens of these!

I cut it from On Trend paper by My Minds Eye.
I simply finished it by tying a twine bow
from Doodle Twine Bright Assortment.

A butterfly was added using Memory Box Precious Butterflies die.
I simply snipped off the bow part
and added just the butterfly.

I added a few little resin 3D flowers to finish.
A very easy and simple project that is sure to please
whomever receives it!

Water Coloring

This is my post on the Classy Cards 'n Such blog today
for the latest challenge using the inspiration board below.
The challenge is Colors, Stitching and Patterns.

Hi, Diane with you today.
This is the card I did for our latest challenge
Colors~Stitching~Patterns

I went with the Rose patterns I saw in the fabrics.

One of the biggest trends right now seems to be water coloring,
so  I had a little fun with the Ken Oliver Color Bursts Alizarin Crimson
and a We R Memory Keepers Next Level Bouquet Embossing Folder.

I just spritzed some water on my craft mat,
puffed on a small amount of color bursts,
spritzed a water color paper and painted
the color onto an already embossed water color paper.

I added a pretty ribbon bow and a tiny resin flower,
which you could use Whimsy Perfect Petals.
A bit of Cloud Nine Velvet Glitter was added.

Pretty Flowers

This is my card on the
Classy Cards 'n Such blog this week
for our current challenge
Lilacs and Lace
and using the inspiration board below.

Hi, Diane with you today.
This weeks challenge is Lilacs and Lace.

I started with a gorgeous new embossing folder
from We R Memory Keepers Next Level - Quilted.

Next a lacy heart was die cut using 2 of the dies
from Spellbinders Lace Hearts.

Flowers were cut using Memory Box Blushing Bouquet.

The flowers were painted with a TH Water Brush
and using colors from
Twinkling H2Os Holiday Sparkle and Autumn  Brillance.
It gives them a watercolor effect, but they are actually
a bit shimmery from the H2Os.

To finish, I simply added a bow!

Framed Heart

This is my post at the
Classy Cards 'n Such blog
and for the current challenge using the inspiration board below.

Hi, Diane with you today.
This weeks challenge on the blog is
Love Makes The World Go Around.
We were to use red and/or pink and hearts.
We also have a beautiful inspiration photo
and you can find it by clicking on the current challenge tab.

I made a simple but gorgeous card.
I started by embossing with a new in store
embossing folder by We R Memory Keepers
Bouquet - Next Level
These give a deep beautiful impression.

Next I cut Impression Obsession Rectangles 6 in 1 Frames.
What this means is you get one die, but it cuts six
frames all in one cut.
I used 3 of the 6.

Each was popped up with Joy! Foam Pads Small.

The frames  were cut from Pearlized Esse White Metallic card stock.

I cut a heart using Memory Box Precious Hearts.
The heart was cut with Red Mirricard card stock

I hope you enjoy my card and try one yourself!

Hello

This is my post at the Classy Cards 'n Such blog today
for our current challenge and using the
inspiration photo below!

Hello Classy Friends!
This week our challenge is to use a neutral palette.
We have a beautiful inspiration photo to get you started!

I decided to go with totally cream colors.
Using the inspiration photo for guidance,

I embossed a cream panel with
Darice Quilt Blocks embossing folder.
This has to be one of my most favorite folders to date!

Next I cut a heart from Spellbinders Lace Hearts.
To achieve the heart shown,
I used two hearts from the set, one inside the other,
then cut...pretty isn't it?

Next I cut Impression Obsession Bird On a Branch
from Authentique 6 x 6 paper pad Faith.
This pad has a beautiful collection of neutral papers.

I finished by adding a sentiment held by a tiny clothespin
and added a few gold Dew Drops.

Thinking of You

This is my post at the
Classy Cards 'n Such blog today.

Hello, Diane with you today.
This week on the blog the challenge is Buttons.
What fun!

I think buttons are so interesting with so many colors,
shapes, and sizes to choose from!

I made a rather large card, 6 x 6.
I first started by embossing a Mason Jar
onto Heartfelt Creation Clear Card Stock.

Next I cut a piece of plain white card stock to fit the
embossed  mason jar.
I laid it on top so I could get the placement of my buttons.
Then I removed it and adhered each button down.

Here are some beautiful buttons for you to make
your own jar and both are on sale!
Boutique Bubblegum
and
Boutique Cupcake.

I then ran adhesive down each side
to attach the jar to the background.
To cover up the adhesive, I cut two
Impression Obsession Border Duo 1 edges
and adhered over the edges.

To finish I simply adhered the entire piece to a
designer paper, added lace trim and bow to the top,
and a sentiment.

Happy Colors

This is my post on the
Classy Cards 'n Such blog today.

Hello, Diane with you today.
How is the weather where you live?
It is cold here, in the teens,
so it seems appropriate to bring a bit of sunshine to the blog
in the form of bright and happy colors.

Our challenge this week just so happens to be
Bright and Cheerful.

Nothing can produce those colors like the
Ken Oliver Color Bursts.
I used colors from both the
Earth Tone Set and the Brights Set.
Using the Spritzer Bottle, I spritzed water on water color paper,
then lightly squirted on the colors, more water, etc.,
until I was satisfied with the results.

Here is a photo to show you the effects.
(Yes, I did a second one for later use.)

Once dried, I cut flowers and leaves from
Spellbinders Romantic Blooms Three.
Black Pearls were added to the center of the larger flower.

For the background I used one of the dies from
Memory Box Distressed Windham Collection.
Then I embossed it with Crafts-Too Dots embossing folder

I finished with a pretty bow with ribbon from RRR.

Winter Wishes

This is my post on the
for our current challenge
'Winter Blues"
and using the inspiration board below.

Hello, Diane with you today!
Our challenge this week is winter blues, make it blue and white
and to use the  inspiration board
Well, you can also see I was inspired a bit by the kraft color
in the bottom photo.

I started my card by embossing with
Darice embossing folder Doily Lace.
Using a Kraft paper, I die cut Marianne Anja's Large Oval.
The green flourish you see is also from the same set.

The image and the snow verse you see are both from the
gorgeous Graphic 45 Time To Flourish paper pack.
This paper pack is so beautiful that
I had to purchase two pads, as I knew one I would hoard!

I added a bit of sparkle by using

I finished up with a few Le Creme pearls.

Hi, Diane with you today!
After all the holiday rush and activities it sure feels good
to be back in the creative room again.

My card was made for our current challenge
"Let It Snow"
and I hope you will join in with us

I did a somewhat simple window winter scene
which I am calling Inside Looking Out.

I started with a pretty snowflake paper from
Wild Rose Frosted Lace 6 x 6 paper pad.

I cut two windows using
PoppyStamps Small Madison Window.
I cut one from the Frosted Lace Paper and used the negative,
then the second one from a scrap of white card stock
and popped it up over the negative using Joy! Foam Pads Small.

However, before adhering it down,
I cut a few snow banks, and
a few birch trees using Impression Obsession Birch Trees
and arranged both behind the window for my outside scene.

Snowflakes were cut from Impression Small Snowflake Set.
Each snowflake then was brushed with glue and coated with
Sparkle N Sprinkle Crystal Ice Glitter.

I finished with a winter wonderland sentiment I had on hand,
which I wish I had to use, it's so pretty!

A few sequins were also added for a bit of balance.

Silent Night

This is my card and post for the challenge at
The theme is Silent Night Holy Night
and using the inspiration photo below.
You are welcome to use my discount code DIANE-10
to save 10% on your order anytime!

Hello, Diane with you today with my card for our latest challenge
Silent Night Holy Night.

Silent Night is my very favorite Christmas song of all.
Each and every Christmas Eve the hubby and I attend our small
and very old, out in the middle of no where country church.
At the end of the evening, candles are passed, lit, lights are turned off,
hands are joined and we all sing Silent Night....
a very beautiful way to spend Christmas Eve.

My card represents Christmas Eve.
All the kids are tucked in bed with visions of Santa
flying overhead,
The star is shining brightly, fresh snow on the ground,
and the dog has been let out for the last time before Christmas morning.

I used many 'snippets' of scrap papers for this card.
The dog is made form a very old piece of mulberry paper!

The products I used to make this card are
Super Gold Metallic card stock

Thank You

This is my post today at the
Classy Cards'n Such blog.
Sorry if I haven't been around much the last week or so
but our big family Christmas party is the 20th
and we have 23 kids coming plus adults....
well, you get the picture..lol!

Hi Diane with you today and guess what?
I have something besides a Christmas card to share..lol!

I have always loved the colors of lavender and yellow together.
I started the base of my card with a lavender card stock.
I added a white panel to that.
I used another piece of lavender card stock under
a die cut from Sue Wilson's Mini Striplet Rose Garden.

I ran two strips of Scor-Tape 1/4" down each side,
then sprinkled Sparkle N Sprinkle Lacey Lilac Glitter on each strip.

Next I made a bow
and adhered a Rose to the center.

The stamped sentiment is from the
JustRite Thank You Daffodil stamp set

A butterfly was added using Joy! Crafts Butterfly Trio.
To finish I added a few pretty Lavender Pearls.

Thank you for visiting with me today and have a Merry Christmas!!

Ornament Tag

This is my card for our new challenge
this week at Classy Cards 'n Such.
The theme is Starry Starry Nights
and using the inspiration photo below.
You are welcome to use my discount code
DIANE-10 anytime to save 10% on your order.

Hi there, Diane with you on the blog today!

This weeks challenge is Starry Starry Night.
Using the inspiration photo we were to use stars on our projects.

I have a large family, which means I have a large need for tags,
so I thought I would make a tag this week!

I started with two very basic Spellbinders dies,
the original circle die and the scallop circle die.

I cut the scallop circle from Luminized Curious Metallic card stock.
I used Memory Box Star Dust stencil to stencil
silver stars on the plain white circle.

An ornament was cut using Memory Box Classic Ornament,
which was cut from an embossed, metallic paper from my supplies.
A silver glitter star was added using a star punch.

To make the ornament more authentic looking,
I used just the top piece (ornament hanger)
from Impression Obsession Fancy Ornament.

I added Really Reasonable Ribbon and a bow, twine and jingle bells to finish.

I love how this will make a cute and pretty tie on for a package.

Be Merry

This is my card on the

Hi Diane here with you today,
with another Christmas card to share.

I started with a red card stock base,
then embossed white card stock with
Crafts-Too Dots embossing folder.

I cut a circle with Spellbinders original circle die,
then stamped my sentiment using JustRite Christmas Inner Thoughts.

The wreath was cut with a Cottage Cutz Whimsical Holiday Wreath die.
You should take a peek at this die, as not only does it come with the
separate bow and flower dies I have used, but there is a gingerbread,
bell, gift box, dove, deer, ornament and another flower to choose from.
These would also be great dies for gift tags.

The wreath itself was cut from an embossed metallic paper I had
and a piece of craft foam underneath to give it a bit of depth.

The red flowers and bow were cut using Stardream Jupiter Metallic paper.

To the bow and flower centers, I added Silver Rhinestones.
