I embossed a card stock panel
then using Nuvo blending sponges
sponged on Nuvo Embellishement Mousse Pure Platinum.
You can see I didn't sponge the middle as I new it would be covered with my die cut.

I die cut a pretty oval, large enough for the sentiment to fit on,

stamped with Versamark and embossed with Silver Detail embossing powder.

A pretty silver ribbon and button were added to finish!

Now for a bit of sad news.

Due to some family health issues, 

and the need to spend more time with a family member
I decided I needed to step down

as a designer for SNS.

It was a very hard decision as I have enjoyed my 3 year journey

with Sparkle N Sprinkle and all their wonderful

Stamp sets, glitter, embossing powders and other fabulous products,

which I will continue using, a lot!

I will miss my SNS design friends as well,

but I sure will be visiting to see what is new and exciting on their blog posts.

Thank you SNS for letting me a part of your world!

(after the writing/scheduling of this post,
my Mom lost her battle with Stage 4 breast cancer
she is dearly missed, but I was able to be with her everyday and at her side when she passed and for that I am grateful)

To make this sparkle-y Christmas card I first started out by using Versamark
then embossing with SNS Gold Detail embossing powder.
I colored in the kitty and the lights with Copics.
Then using Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive and SNS glitters,
I started adding glitter, one color at a time starting from the top to the bottom
(you can see in the picture below)
so as not to contaminate my glitter colors with each other.
to do this successfully, I used the neatest glitter tool
Nuvo Craft Spoon, making it a snap to add the colors...a MUST HAVE! 
glitter colors added were 
Tangerine, Sugar Plum, Butterscotch, Gecko, Marine Blue, and Fire Engine Red.

Once all the glitters were added, I set it aside to dry for a bit, then carefully

and quickly fussy cut the kitty out.

Brush away any excess glitter with your Glitter Brush once it is dry.

I next die cut a tree and leaving it in the die,

I coated the entire thing with Dreamweavers Embossing paste.

Once the  embossing paste was done, I quickly removed the die cut

and then sprinkled on SNS Sparkling snow.

A tip is to also quickly wash away the Embossing paste from your die

as it dries very quickly.

Using a hillside stitched die, 

I cut a few 'hills', added Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive along the edges

then added more of the Sparkling Snow glitter.

I used Versamark to stamp the sentiment and embossed with 

Red Apple Embossing powder.

Using the small snowflake from the  Dancing Penguin stamp set

I stamped 3 snowflakes in Versmark and  used

Sparkle Embossing Powder. (they are better seen IRL).

To finish I added the snowy hillside, the tree, and popped up the kitty!

Pretty Fall Cotton Wreath

Hi Diane with you today using a beyond gorgeous digital

'Fall Cotton Wreath'!

I fell in love with this as soon as I saw it

as I had just purchased a real cotton wreath for my fireplace,

though this one is MUCH prettier!

This digital set has many more options 

and also comes in black and white so you can color it yourself if you choose!

I chose the already colored one as it was so beautiful.

I printed out my Fall Cotton Wreath digi (in microsoft word)

then quickly fussy cut it out, only took minutes.

I set it aside , then die cut a pretty Sue Wilson die that I adhered to

Sticker paper and started applying Golden Wheat Glitter.

I pretty much just dumped it on and used my 'finger' tool

to rub it in, then brushing off the excess with my Glitter Brush.

Next came the fun part, 'dressing up' the digi.

I used a Stardust Gelly Roll Pen on the little white sprays of flowers 

and on random places on the wreath.

I also added lots of gold sparkle to the bow by adding 

Nuvo  Aqua Shimmer Midas Touch (gold).

Can you see how real the 'cotton' looks?

That's because I first carefully added Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive

to each little cotton ball, then using craft tweezers

I sprinkled with SNS Twinkling Clouds Flocking.

Cool Christmas Birthday

My cute little easel card is on the
Sparkle N Sprinkle blog today...yippee!!

Hi, Diane  with you and my fun
Side Board Easel card.
Not only is this an easel card, but it is also
an 'action' card.
The perfect card for a 'Christmas' birthday!
Let me show you quickly how I created it.

The snowflake image is from Crystal Snowflake 868  stamp set.
It was stamped in Versamark VM001 
and embossed with  Indian Spark EP273 embossing powder.

Using  TH 5” Mini Scissors 816E (These are my go to fussy cut scissors),
I easily fussy cut the snowflake out.
A little tip for fussy cutting is to trim away the larger pieces as you go
making it easier to cut around your image.

Next using the newly released stamp set Dancing Penguin 913,
I stamped him with Versamark VM001
and embossed with Black Detail EP171
He was colored in with Copics first, I didn't worry too much
about my coloring as I knew I would be covering him up for the most part with glitter.
It just helps to use the same color as your glitter
so nothing shows thru.

I always start at the top and work my way down, adding one color at a time.
I used myGlitter Brush SG1400 in-between each addition of colors.
I used  SNS Brushable Glue 540 and a small paint brush to apply,'making it
easy to apply the glue where I wanted it.
Glitter colors I used are 
Waterfall G1071, Black Diamond GM2046,  Tangerine GM2043

The 'fur' of the hat ws done after all my other glitters had dried (they dry FAST).
For the hat trim I used SNS Dimensional Glue 539, 
which puffs up, giving a bit of a 3d effect.
To that I sprinkled on Sparkling Snow G1003.

The card itself was quit easy that I found on Pinterest.
The measurements are
card base 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"
top layer for that is 4" x 5 1/4".
For my top layer, I used a snowflake embossing folder that  I brayered
with Versamark VM001 and embossed with Sparkle EP107 embossing powder.
It gave it a very shimmery look!
If you scroll down a bit you can get a good look at it.
Once my little guy was all glittered up, I added a
SNS Action Wobbles AWS12
to the back of him so he could 'dance' on his snowflake
The background (measurements given below) was created by
randomly stamping a small snowflake from the same 
Dancing Penguin 913 stamp set with Laguna Bay ink from
Nuvo Diamond Hybrid Ink Pads Sea Siren 81N ink set.
To each snowflake I added CrystalGlitter Drops Emerald City 760N

The 'flap' of the card is 3" x 4 1/2" and scored at 2" and 4".
The 2"  side is adhered to the base and top base layer before the top layer goes on.
As show below I used ½” Tear-ific Tape SAT04
to adhere my top 2 layers on, the measurements for those are 
bottom layer 2 7/8" x 3 7/8" and top layer 2 3/4" x 3 3/4"

I also added to the CrystalGlitter Drops Emerald City 760N center of 
the large snowflake.
The sentiment was die cut using a small die from the 
Ribbon & Bow Layering Die Set 1461E 
and stamped with the same Laguna Bay ink.

I know this is picture heavy but honestly it was a lot 
easier then it looks!

Having some fun with my project on the
Sparkle N Sprinkle blog today.

Hi there, Diane with you today with a fun and pretty easy
what I am calling a 'seed packet'.



I started out making my own little kraft packet.
It measures approx. 8 1/4" x 3 3/4".
I scored at it at 2" and 6" to fold over to the back.
I ran adhesive down the back and across the bottom to hold it together,
then used a round punch at the top.
I also die a tag using a TH tag die.

I stamped the Sunflower Cheer  916 image on a wacky stitched rectangle,

ran my Anti Static Bag 99512 over it to take any static off, 

then stamped with Versamark VM001

and embossed with Gold Detail EP168 embossing powder.

The image was colored in with Copics and 

using Deluxe Adhesive 200N

in the flower center I added Fall Leaves G1044 glitter.

For the inside of the packet I stamped the image again in Versamark VM001

but this time embossing with  Indian Corn EP119 embossing powder.

I added a strip of  1/4" Tear-ific Tape

and then Butterscotch GM2051.

This glitter is one of our newer colors and it is as yummy as it sounds!

I finished off the tag with a piece of ribbon.

My card below is featured today at
Sparkle N Sprinkle!

From Our house to yours.....
what a fabulous stamp this is!
It is all part of the stamp set Merry Christmas Tree 906.
I just love this newly released set
and will using it a lot for my Christmas cards this  year.

I decided on a non-traditional color for a change and went with pink and silver.

I first die cut a background to stamp on using

 Ribbon andBow Layering die set 1461E.

The image was stamped with  Versamark VM001

then embossed with  Silver Detail  EP257 embossing powder.

Once that was done, I used the die again to just cut a piece without the delicate design

from sticker paper. I peeled off the backing and carefully lined it up

and adhered it to my image piece.

This left the 'sticky' exposed so I could add glitter.

I added a gorgeous  glitter called Tooth Fairy GM2036.

Using   DeluxeAdhesive 200N I added dots of glue to each of the ornaments 

on the image, then using Tooth FairyGM2036 glitter once again,

I sprinkled it onto each ornament.

A dot of  Crystal Drops Glitter Silver Moondust 756N

was added to the center of each star.

I die cut a tag, then stamped the cute sentiment with

Pink Sherbet ink from the Diamond Hybrid Ink Pads Rose Garden 83N set.

I tied on a jingle bell with silver thread.

To my card base I added a pink cards stock which I embossed

the lower half with a dotted embossing folder

(I though it resembled the ornaments on the image)

and a piece of Craft Perfect Embossed Paper Broken Glass 9805E

to the upper half.

Hi All!

Today I have a very soft and somewhat 'dainty' card to share with you 

using the new stamp set Feathered Friends 909P5.

To start my card, I simply stamped the image on a die cut circle of vellum
and embossed with White Embossing Powder EP166.

After embossing, you simply flip the  image over
and start coloring on the backside.

Here is the image (right side up) completely colored.

Once colored I cut a larger circle  then my stamped image from Sticker Paper 99558

and adhered it down.  I sprinkled  Peach Bellini Glitter GM2027 all over

and used my Glitter Brush SG1400 to brush away all the excess glitter.

I added a pretty designer paper, then covered it with vellum

and adhered all pieces with 1/2" Double SidedTear-ific Tape ½” SAT04.

A sentiment was stamped with 

Nuvo Diamond Hybrid Ink Pads Tropical Fruits 80N (Panama Rose).

and a few 'drops' were added with Nuvo  Crystal Drops Bubblegum Blush 672N

I finished with a pretty ribbon bow!
