Today at Double D and for the next couple of weeks we have a new challenge theme
and it is FLOWER POTS!
We have a fun and pretty inspiration/mood board but you can create anything
with flower pots on it!!
My card is using a flower pot, Pretty Pot by The Greetery.
I filled the pot with 3D Katy Sue flowers I created last winter
and wondered how I was going to use them. This pot made the perfect
place to 'plunk' them in. You might notice that my 'pot' is a bit crooked, ugh,
I have that problem of getting things straight ever since I have had my mini
stroke five years ago, it is so frustrating but the worse to come out of that was my eye sight,
it really put a strain on my eyesight! So just pretend it's straight!!
The little butterfly was found fluttering around in my 'spare parts' bin.
Come on over to Double D and see all the amazing designs from the design teams!

Looks straight enough from here! (tilt the photo!) So pretty with all of those lovely colors! The softness of the flowers to that pretty background! This is so lovely!
Lovely! That background die plate is awesome. Beautiful flowers and colors. You added lots of dimension to them too. As far as the flower pot, I think mine is a bit off kilter too. Maybe the same reason, but claim it as optical illusion!
What a pretty card. Your flowers are so sweet, and that die cut oval is the perfect backdrop. Great take on the challenge.
Your potted flowers are perfectly sweet, Diane! What a beautiful floral arrangement, made even prettier with the hemstitch oval to frame it. I struggle with getting things straight on my cards too, but I have no excuse. ;o)
I didn't know (or remember) you'd had a mini-stroke. Ovals always throw me off. However, your pot of flowers is beautiful, and I especially love that you cut the pot from printed paper. So pretty!
This is nice! I like the purple background and the oval.

I didn't know that you had a mini stroke and I am sure that I knew you back then. I do remember that after you used this oval die cut, I went out and bough it. You did a great job with the flowers in this pot and used up some die cuts too.
