This is my post on the Sparkle N Sprinkle blog today.
Hi, Diane with you today with a fun card for any occasion!
Stamps: Balloon Bunch 887
Glitter: Marine Blue GM2049
Embossing Powder: Cerulean EP421
Super Thick Silver EP467
Other: Brushable Glue 540
Stampendous Stencil Confetti DWLJ854
Nuvo: Craft Spoon 978N
Glitter Pens Midnight Shadows 172N
Ember Glow 170N
Misc: Craft Cord
I started by taping down my Confetti Stencil by Stampendous
onto a die from Tonic 'Grand Gala Bunting'.
If you tape the top down first, then the sides, and bottom last,
and then once stencil remove them in the same order,
except leave the top tape, then lift the stencil from the bottom up
like a hinge, it makes for a perfect stenciling.
I wanted to add a bit of glitter sparkle,
so I had my jars of glitter already opened and ready to go
along with the Nuvo Craft Spoon.
The embossing paste dries very quickly, so you must work very quickly.
The glitters I used were Daisy, Marine Blue and Tangerine.
I applied these in little amounts using the Nuvo Craft Spoon.
This spoon has 2 different ends, making it easy to use and easy to control
where you want your glitter.
The new stamp set Balloon Bunch was stamped on white card stock.
I stamped it a second time, then cut each balloon out separate using the Tonic 5" Mini Scissors..
Each separate piece was then then applied with Brushable Glue and
Tangerine glitter and Marine Blue Glitter and
embossed with embossing powders
Each finished balloon was then adhered with Deluxe Adhesive.
I then went back and using glitter pens form the sets
I went over each little stamped image around the balloons.
The sentiment was stamped with Versamark embossing ink,
then embossed with Cerulean embossing powder.
I finished the card by using a blue card stock for the back
and tying a piece of hemp cord for the bow.
Thank you for visiting with me today!
