What's Your Number?

Wowza, we are half way thru September....
it seems to go by so quickly doesn't it?
Halfway also brings us to a new challenge theme at

The theme is 'What's Your Number'?
We want to see you use numbers somewhere on your projects.

I have to admit, this one stumped me a bit,
why I don't know as how hard is it
to put a number on your card..it's not hard at all!!

I decided to add a few random numbers from a new die I just received
This die not only has the numbers but the alpha as well.

For the base I used a polka dot paper and a rectangleI (embossed with dots) from
Tutti Designs Nesting Stitched Rectangles

The Tutti Designs Balloon Bouquet was cut in red
and I did a bit of random dots and random 'stitching' on it.

To finish I added the word Celebrate from
Tutti Designs Word Set Celebrate.

We would love to have you join our challenge at Dies R Us....
(you could win a gift certificate to the DRU store).

Cozy Plaids at The Sisterhood of Crafters

Today I am the hostess at The Sisterhood of Crafters Challenge blog
and I chose Cozy Plaids as the theme.

I chose a pretty 'cozy' pink plaid for my card background.
I added a corner doily die cut with a flower button in the corner.

The cup was cut 4 times to get all the various color die cuts
and is from Cheery Lynn Designs.
I went on a coffee/tea die buying spree awhile back and this is form that lol!
I added a snippet of black to the bottom and a few fun sequins.

Take a peek and visit The Sisterhood to see all the pretty and fun plaids
my 'sistahs' have created to inspire YOU!!

Fall Cat

Once again filling in at Cheapo Dies blog

so that being said this will be my last post on the
Cheapo Dies blog for now!
You can 'meet' the new Design Team on Friday!

One of the newly released Cheapo Dies is the
Anyone that knows me,
would know I would love this cute die!

I used a plaid embossing folder on the card base.
I added a few designer papers
then die cut  three times.
Once in brown, then a scrap of designer paper
and lastly the cat from a scrap of Color Burst powder paper.

I simply trimmed where it needed it and paper pieced
(or you might called it stacked) it all together!

Thanks for visiting with me today and please come back daily
to see all the fabulous creations the Design Team has created using
these cute and fun dies!!

Is It Fall Yet?

It's not quite Fall yet, but pretty darn close!!

I am on the Cheapo Dies blog today.

Since Cheapo Dies has just released 38 new dies
including Fall, Halloween and Christmas,
I just couldn't resist this fabulous fall die

I die cut it first in black, then again in orange
and a third time in a scrap of  Color Burst powders.
It was then simply 'paper pieced' together.

I used a polka dot background, a scrap of paper
from my scrapbag (didn't even have to cut it)
and a cute Tag sentiment and hemp bow.

Make sure to visit here daily to see all the fabulous designs
using the very cute and very affordable "Cheapo Dies!!

Happy Harvest

This is my post on the Tutti Designs blog today.

I am still making fall cards and having a blast at it!

Today's card features the pretty

This card was pretty simple just by using a combination of dies and
pretty fall designer papers.

The Fancy Pumpkin was die cut from a fall colored paper.

I added a fun sentiment on a Tutti Designs Stitched Tag.

Be A Wildflower

My BFF Dar from Dar's Crafty Creations one again
challenged each other.
I chose the challenge this time and I picked a CAS Sketch
challenge from Freshly Made Sketches.
I clearly had an idea in my head but have to say
I had a whirlwind weekend with 'family' issues
and never had time or energy to 'get it done'!
So here I am today, a bit late,
so my apologies to Dar!!

I used a never before used stamp set
Art Impression Mini Flower set
and
never used before
Impression Obsession Tiny Clay Pots..

The sentiment is from Elizabeth Crafts
Little Words That Mean A Lot

How I wish I had 'filled in' around the flowers
with more flowers, you know,
ink it up then stamp off then stamp on my paper...
next time!!

Thsi is about as CAS as I get...hope you like it!!

From Our House To Yours

My card below is featured today at
Sparkle N Sprinkle!

From Our house to yours.....
what a fabulous stamp this is!
It is all part of the stamp set Merry Christmas Tree 906.
I just love this newly released set
and will using it a lot for my Christmas cards this  year.

I decided on a non-traditional color for a change and went with pink and silver.
I first die cut a background to stamp on using
The image was stamped with  Versamark VM001
then embossed with  Silver Detail  EP257 embossing powder.
Once that was done, I used the die again to just cut a piece without the delicate design
from sticker paper. I peeled off the backing and carefully lined it up
and adhered it to my image piece.
This left the 'sticky' exposed so I could add glitter.

I added a gorgeous  glitter called Tooth Fairy GM2036.

Using   DeluxeAdhesive 200N I added dots of glue to each of the ornaments
on the image, then using Tooth FairyGM2036 glitter once again,
I sprinkled it onto each ornament.
was added to the center of each star.

I die cut a tag, then stamped the cute sentiment with
Pink Sherbet ink from the Diamond Hybrid Ink Pads Rose Garden 83N set.
I tied on a jingle bell with silver thread.

To my card base I added a pink cards stock which I embossed
the lower half with a dotted embossing folder
(I though it resembled the ornaments on the image)
to the upper half.

I hope you have been inspired to make a few Christmas cards of your own....
