Tulip Panel

This is my post on the Tutti Designs blog today.

Hi, Diane with you today showing the
Tutti Designs Tulip Panel.

I created two cards with the first one being a bit more
elegant then the second.
I kept it pretty simple by cutting it from white card stock
and layering a pretty design paper underneath
with a brown card stock under that.

A few 'candi's  and a bow were added to complete it.
the color is a little 'off'' due to the watermark covering it.

For the second card, I made it a bit more brighter
(once again the watermark is throwing the color off)
I cut the die from a green card stock, then a second time just the
tulips from a glitter paper and paper pieced on.
I added a pretty bow, a fun wooden button and a butterfly to complete.

Time For Some Fun

It's a frosty but sunny and bright morning here
and I have a bright card I created after seeing this fun challenge at

As soon as I saw it I thought about this cute little table and lamp
from Cottage Cutz dies, actually the little lamp just arrived
from their clearance on their site.
Who elese would buy a little lamp but me lol...
but I already had the table and the sentiment from Unity
called 'Shine On'.

I had to add the little bird for decor as the table needed something
and I don't know about you,
but I have little white birds on one of my table tops lol!!

Make sure and see all the beautiful creations their design team
made from the picture as they are beautiful!

It's All About The Green

Today is the first Wednesday in March which means of course
is also a new challenge theme at
Double D!

The theme is 'It's all about the green'
and/or St. Patrick's Day'

You can create something for
St Patrick's Day or use all or any of the colors
green~white~gold
Neutrals added are fine as well.

We have a fun mood board to inspire you!!

can

I created this card using one of the little
characters from the prize we are giving away....
the little shamrock mouse...isn't he just the cutest?

I also used a Cottage Cutz die
with the little owl peeking out.
I cut the tree from a gold mirror paper.
The sentiment is from SNS no longer in business.

Here is a close-up of the mouse and his owl friend.
Do you suppose he is giving the owl the shamrock
as a piece offering so the owl doesn't think of him as dinner?

I did a little sponging on each of them.
Adding those tiny leaves to the branches was the tricky part as they are tiny~tiny!

Take a visit to the Double D challenge blog and see all the FUN
'greenery' the team has created...fabulous as always!!

Love Owls Inspiration

This is my post on the Tutti Designs blog today.

Hi, Diane with you today with the cutest die
'Love Owls'.

This die is so versatile for many occasions
birthday~wedding~love~thinking of you`or just because!

I have three very different variations for you.

The first card is all about 'love'!
It could be wedding~anniversary or even birthday.
Pretty easy as the die does all the work.
I die cut it from red foil paper and placed it on a pretty floral background paper.
I layered the cross stitch rectangles for the sentiment.

Second card was another super easy one
with a wood stamped background and the sentiment on a
Cross Stitch Oval.

The third and last card was die cut in pink and simply placed
on layered  Dotted Nesting Circles.
The largest circle was embossed with a dot EB folder,
giving it a bit more dimension.

I hope this gives you a bit of inspiration using these fun dies!!

Tag You're It Challenge At Dies R Us

Design Team Member At

March 1st...hmmm
since I am writing this early I am wondering if it going to
come in as a lamb and out like a lion or vise-versa!
Well, whichever it chooses it is also a new challenge theme at

Our theme is 'Tag You're It'...
we want to see some awesome tags or tags on your cards!

I was in the bright and happy Easter mood when I created my tag.

I used Tutti Designs Nesting Stitched Tags (all links given below)
for the tag base cut from a jelly bean paper.
I layered an egg on top from Memory Box Open Studio Half A dozen Eggs.
This was cut from a bright pink shimmery paper.
I added a 'lace' trim to the bottom using
Precious Marieke Fluer-de-lis border die.

The main attraction is my adorable little chick using
Frantic Stamper Vintage Chick
and I placed a bit of grass behind her from
Impression Obsession Grass.

Be Always Blooming

We have a new theme starting today at
and it is 'Patterned Paper',
super~super EASY!!

I created a very simple card and an easy mailer...
after mailing out a birthday card and the postage was over $4
I decided it was time for some 'simple' cards!

For the card base I used a navy blue card stock.
I have a ton of pre-cut A2 card bases already cut from my
Stampin' Up days but seem to use mostly black, white or cream bases...
this is the year to change that!

I added a kraft card stock on that and then this gorgeous
paper I bought this year.
It is The Paper Boutique 'Moonlight Song' made in the UK.
It is a gorgeous pad of paper.

The label with the sentiment is Floral Labels from Find It Trading,
stamped with a new ink (to me) from Memento 'Paris Dusk.
The sentiment is an old one from Flourishes set Always Blooming 2013.

Now pop on over to The Sisterhood and see all
the fabulous designs from my 'sistahs'...
join in with us as we would love to see YOUR patterned papers!!
