Some Bunny

Since I am still FREE from DT posts this week I did another
fun challenge that has been on my 'list' to do and that is
Art Impressions monthly challenge.

I used one of my favorite stamp sets from them and it is
Easter Blessings.

I have always loved this set with it's cute bunnies and pretty flowers.
I die cut a scalloped circle die from watercolor paper
then water  colored with TomBow markers
I added a few lavender gems for a bit of sparkle.

Did you know that in addition to the monthly challenge ,
they also have a bi-weekly challenge?
If you hurry there is still a bit of time for the monthly challenge!!

Super Star

It's Woodblock Wednesday at Amy Tsuruta's blog,
the challenge the last Wednesday of the month where
you pull out your woodblock stamps.

Being January I tried to go with stamps that fit that month and
came up with these OLD hockey stamps that had yet to have seen ink.
Studio G (from Michaels) hockey man and
Rubber Baby Buggy Bumpers (1991) hockey stick.
I die cut a few stars and used a computer generated sentiment.

I think this card will go to my great grandson that is a hockey player.

Come on over to Amy's fun challenge and show us and her
your fun and probably neglected woodblock stamps!

Poppystamps January 2026 Challenge

Since the month is winding down and all my DT projects are done until
February first I had plenty of time this week to have a bit of fun with a challenge
or two.  I saw the fun challenge at Poppystamps was Shake It Up
and it's been eons since I made a shaker, so long I almost forgot how!!
I have been wanting to do their challenges since forever
so my goal is to try and do it monthly this year, we will see how that goes!
I kept my design pretty simple and let my Poppystamps die
take center stage!

I have a love for their Nordic collection and die cut my
Nordic Fanfare Butterfly from a scrap of white card stock
then inked with a few inks.  I used a flower die to cut the opening
for the shaker and filled it with some tiny little hearts.
I used a rub on for the sentiment and a patterned vellum under the
shaker cut out, both hard to see except IRL.
And the white strip you see on the left, is a glare from my camera,
honestly it is NOT there.

Here is a picture of the card without the strip in the photo above.

You still have a day to join their fun challenge but you'd better get busy
as it ends soon!!

Time To Celebrate

Hello friends, it's time for our challenge at
Can You Handle The Pressure
where we are all about embossing folders, you MUST use an
embossing folder for this challenge.

We have an OPTIONAL theme of ALL White cards,
but also we are an anything goes challenge so any EB folder is okay!

Last summer I purchased a new embossing folder from Simon Says Stamp
Seedhead Stems and it is gorgeous.  It makes a larger card then I am used to
but that's okay as I surely didn't want to lose any of the beautiful image
by trimming it off.  I love the sentiment from The Greetery as it can be used
for a birthday, anniversary or any celebration.

We would love to have you come and join our challenge
at Can You Handle The Pressure.

Hello Friend

It's time for our second challenge this month at
Double D and the theme is FRIENDS.
We have a friends 'mood' board for inspiration.

As a pet owner and how I LOVE my pets dearly I think of my
dear dog Mack as one of my best friends, he is always happy to see me
and is all smiles with everyone he meets so that is where my idea
for my image came from and also the Penny Black Gentle Thoughts
stamp set which is a new one for me.  The sentiment is Spellbinders Little Hello Sentiments.
The die cuts are Tutti Designs.

Here are a few pictures of my Mr. Mack, Mr. Smiley himself
Yes, we let him sit on the sofa, hence the blanket.
He is eight years old and weighs 68#s.
Look at those long legs!!

He scares people with his smile, I don't know why??

Come on over to Double D and make some 'friends' with our
fun challenge theme!

Winter Wishes

It's time for another Peace On Earth challenge and I certainly hope
you play along with us this year as then you will be so much ahead
for when the holidays roll around!

We have a snowy cold cute and fun mood board for inspiration
but you can create anything as long as it is Christmas themed!

Today's card  uses Northern Lights paper by Recollections (2018).
This pad of papers is getting smaller and smaller and that makes me 'happy'!

I also used a Hero Arts Peeking Snowman Fancy die (2023)
that I have used before but last time I gave him a top hat
but this time made a 'her' making it more girly by adding pinks,
Stickles and some Nuvo drops.
The sentiment is from The Ton.

Come on over to Peace On Earth and have some holiday fun
with us and be inspired by our fabulous design teams!!

Halloween Snow Globe

We are halfway through our year round challenge at
Two Old Bats and would love to have you join us!
As always we have a fun mood board for inspiration
but you can create anything as long as it is Halloween!

I was inspired by the Halloween snow globe in the upper
left corner and let my Cricut help me out with that.
Funny, but I bought lots and lots of new Halloween supplies
the last couple years and had I looked at my Cricut Design space I
could of saved bundles as there is so much fabulous die cuts and print and
cuts there to use!  The Cricut is such an amazing thing but after all my years
of having it I am having to relearn it all over again and with all the updates
things certainly have changed. Anyhow, that is where my witchy snow globe came from,
the sentiment is a very old one from K&C Company, it has glitter all over it.
The design paper is LDRS Creative Haunted Halloween.

Hope to see you over at Two Old Bats!!
