Thank You

Yippee...Christmas is over for another year.....

Now its time to get those thank yous sent out!

I made a quick 'thank you' card using ALL Cheery Lynn Designs dies.

I first die cut Cheery Lynn Designs Lace Rose and Flourish

from white card stock.

I adhered it to a piece of vellum and colored it with my Copics.

Next I cut Cheery Lynn Designs Heart To Heart Lace Doily

and placed over the vellum...

I trimmed off all the parts of the Rose die cut 

that were hanging out past the heart.

A Cheery Lynn Designs Bow was added to the bottom.

I used a Flourish's stamp for the thank you

and added a few sequins...a very fast thank you card!

Happy Birthday to Paper Sweeties

Today and the entire month of August

Paper Sweeties is celebrating their 3rd year birthday!!

You won't want to miss it, as there are all kinds of things going on

as you can see on the photo above!

One of the events is a challenge using the inspiration photo below.

The Shabby Girls at The Shabby Tea Room were invited to join in!

I gladly accepted the invitation as I love the sweet stamps, dies and embellies

from Paper Sweeties!!

I made a fun celebration card using

Paper Sweeties  Sweeties Pets and Paper Sweeties Celebrate.

I colored the cute little pup and kitty with my Copics

and gave each a fun party hat from the celebrate set.

I added glitter for a bit of fun sparkle and used

a Wink of Stella pen to outline the roof

and boards of the doghouse.

Head on over and join in the celebration,

there are wonderful prizes

for several lucky winners at the end of the month!

Spring Time Nap

Hello Friends!!!

Once again I am taking a little "me" time and joining in the cutest challenge

at "House Mouse & Friends" for their "Spring" theme!!

I remember the first time I saw this cute little mouse sleeping in the tulip,

I had to have it....

and it feels good to pull some of my stamps out again.

I got into my scrap bags and pulled a few pieces to match

the pretty orange tulip!

I have been in a peachy/orange mood lately,

maybe it's that "hopeful for Spring" attitude again!

Not sure, but I am loving the colors!!

I colored this little mouser with my Copics,

then cut him out with a Nellie Snellen  doily die.

The stamped sentiment came from my bag of scraps

as well did the snippet of ribbon.

Hope you like my little house mouse.....eeeeeeeek

Hello Saturday!!

It is colder then a freezer here, but the  sun is out and shining brightly!!

Puts me in a mood to make a Spring card.

With Easter sneaking  upon us,

I decided to make a cute Easter card

using the fabulous digital 

Victorian Easter Tags from My Artistic Adventures!

I embossed the background with a fun button embossing folder.

I added a few gingham "candi" dots here and there.

The pretty oval is a die my hubby got me for Christmas

by Nellie Snellen.

I added a gingham ribbon, daisy flower button

and a daisy trim from my stash.
