Now on to my card.

I have really been feeling the fall weather lately
(it's 58 here right now as I write this)
and to make it even more 'fall-like' are the new stamps from Sparkle N Sprinkle.

I chose Turkey Dish for my reveal card.
I just love this cute image,
she reminds me so much of a friend of mine,
the hair, the glasses, even her 'trendy' clothes
(good thing she doesn't read my blog..lol)!

I used a black card stock for my base with a piece
of fall designer paper on that.

Next I added a Cuttlebug embossing folder (kitchen weave) to that.

I did a technique that is so easy but yet
brings great results.
Using a brayer (the red rubber one like mine works the best)
I brayered orange ink on the side with the lettering on it.
Carefully add your card stock to the other side and run through
your embossing machine.

Once done, then add Nuvo glue to the areas you want to add glitter.

I used Sunset glitter for my leaves.
Set aside to dry.
Once dry, I die cut a circle and placed on top of the
kitchen weave embossed panel.
I used a scrap piece to cut a few fall leaves to add later.

The image was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
I colored her with my Copics,
added brushable glue to her skirt and added a bit more of the Sunset glitter.
Her apron top I added polka dost using Nuvo Crystal Drops Ripened Pumpkin.
A bit of the glue and glitter was added to her hair piece as well.

I stamped the sentiments with Versamark, then embossed with
Black Detail embossing powder.
I cut both out using Stitched Circle dies and Stitched Square dies from Memory Box.
The little glittered leaves were added as well as a small bow using
Mon Ami Green Pull Ribbon 1/8".

You should have come from Chris's blog.
I am the last one the hop, but if you get lost along the way,
the entire list is above!

Make sure and visit all the designer blogs and leave a comment for your chance to
win the entire release, now wouldn't that be fun!!!

Crafting Is Exercise

I have a bright and fun card for your today using a new stamp from set
The stamp is
available both in 'rubber' or 'digital.
I am using the digital version.

I started with a bright and fun panel made by spritzing water
on card stock and then sprinkling Nuance Hot Pink powder on.
This 'stuff' is so fun as you never get the same results/look twice.

While that was set aside to dry
I colored the image with Copics, then added a tiny bit of glue to her hair,
then sprinkled on Golden Wheat glitter.

I just wanted a small amount of 'hair' shine.

I added glue to her shoes and sprinkled with Gypsy Red glitter.
Once I put the card together,
I added 2 strips of 1/4" Tear-ific Tape to each side of th  image,
then Exulated Pink glitter.
I love how it matches the Nuance perfectly.
I also put a bit of glue on her craft case,
then added the Exulated Pink glitter to that as well.

Hope you like her!

Come back here tonight at 9 pm EST time to see the
Sparkle N Sprinkle REVEAL of 5 new stamp sets
and just by leaving a comment on each of the designers blog posts,

From The Heart

This is my LAST post on the
Tutti Designs blog today.
I have stepped down from the team,
BUT
I have taken another position within the
Tutti Designs company.
You will see all my designs/samples
in the Tutti store and other online stores
for each and every die
starting with the October release!
How exciting for me, I feel so honored to
be able to create with each and every die!

Happy Thursday All!

The die I am showing you today
is one of my favorites
(wait, I think I have said that with all of them..lol)
I have to admit though,
when we first were shown the new release,
I had my fingers crossed I would receive this one to work with
as I love Roses.

The die is Rose Duo Frame.

Well, as you can see, my wishes came through, lol,
I did receive this beautiful die.

To make my card,
I cut a circle out of a white panel of card stock.
I placed a soft sponged panel behind that.
The entire panel was then attached to the front
of a white card stock base.

Using glue sparingly here and there on the die cut back,
I adhered it to the front sponged panel.

To finish, I added a banner sentiment
and a few well placed sequins!

Fall Harvest

I am the hostess at The Sisterhood of Crafters
for our next challenge and I have chosen the theme
'Fall Harvest'.
Meaning, to use anything that has to do with a fall harvest
such as tractors, apples, corn, pumpkins, scarecrows, gourds,
Indian corn, acorns, grapes, sunflowers etc.

I grabbed an older stamp set that I thought represented
a 'fall harvest' perfectly!
It was colored in with my Copics then carefully
'die cut' out.

The sentiment was stamped in Versamark,
then embossed in one of my favorite EB powders, coffee.
I wish you could see the embossing on the leaves
on the frame, but I couldn't get them to show
up, no matter how many pics I took...sigh!

I added a few little die cut leaves and a couple brads.
All the products I used will be listed below.

Pop on over to The Sisterhood and see what the 'sistahs'
have to get YOU inspired to join in with us!

Favorite Things

Our challenge at
is being hosted by our lovely and talented Gina
and she has chosen the theme
'Our Favorite Things'.

Our sponsor is Wild Orchard Crafts.

I have so many favorite things
I would had to have a card as big as a house to use them all..lol!

So I just decided to go with a few!
I chose pretty designer paper, a doily, flowers
(a Rose in particular),
butterfly, basket and of course the color PINK!

I have a pretty pink layer of SU card stock under my designer paper
then a pink doily I already had cut, along with a white basket.

I added a very BIG Rose and a few other flowers
and a butterfly and sentiment from my stash.
An easy mailer? NOT, but this can be a personally hand delivered card..lol!

That pretty much sums it up!
Head on over to the Fussy and Fancy blog
to see all the beautiful 'favorite' things the design team has...
join in with us, too!

Birthday Wishes

This is my post today on the
Tutti Designs blog.

Hi There!
Are you having fun seeing all the
newly released dies we have been showing you so far this month?

I know I am having fun working with them,
these dies are incredible!

The die I am showing you today is

It is the most beautiful and intricate die!

I cut the die from white card stock.
I also cut a plain white circle from white vellum.
I wanted to have a 'stained glass' look,
so I carefully adhered the die cut to the vellum.
I then flipped the piece over to the backside
and using Copic markers, I colored in the
hummingbird and the flower centers.

Once I was happy with the coloring,
I adhered the entire piece to another circle from
plain white card stock.
I did this so the background paper would not show
through the finished vellum piece.

I finished the card by adding a pretty red bow, a few sequins
and a sentiment.

Autumn Tree

Hello All!
Wow, can you believe we are half way into September already?
It just amazes me that our days/weeks/months seem to fly by.

But, that also means it is time for a new challenge at Double D.
Team Darlene is hosting this time and the theme is
'TREES'
and the mood board below to get you going!

One of the fun things of being on the Double D team
is that we have an option to join in
each and every challenge if we choose to.
Of course  I always love to join in!

There were lots of options to go with this,
but in the end I pulled out one of my older SU
stamp set (prior to 2013) and went with that!

I first stamped the tree, then started building
my 'fall' leaves around it.

I added a few strands of hemp cord
and a few die cut squirrels.

I sponged a bit of ink around the tree, then stamped my sentiment .

Once done, I came back and 'painted' on a bit of glitter.

Make sure and pop on over to the
Double D challenge blog and see what the Design Team
has to get YOU inspired!

Let's Write A Letter

How is your weather with the fist days of Fall only 2 days away?
Here in Michigan we are still seeing the mid 80's
and I am NOT complaining as I will take it as long as we can get it!!

It does feel however , that Fall is certainly in the air.
That being the case, I decided to make a cute Fall
letter writing set for my Mom.

It just so happens that this week our assignment at

This cut file is FULL of letter writing printables,
pretty much anything you can think of.

I simply pulled out some 'fall-ish' papers,
printed and constructed my box in minutes,
printed the writing sheets, did a few embellishments on the cover
and my box was complete!

Here is what the inside looks like,
a place for the printed writing sheets (part of the cut file)
and also a place to hold a pen.

Here is what it looks like before I added the writing papers.

A side view to show the box bottom.

The complete box, closed and ready to give as a gift.

Regina had mentioned that in this day and age, most letters
are computer generated and encouraged all of us
to actually 'write' a letter.
Wow, she is absolutely correct in that statement,
in fact here in the schools,
the children aren't even taught how to write in cursive,
can you believe that?
I find it totally bizarre!
I do have an elderly Aunt that is 92 I write to
and her birthday was the 12th...so perfect timing!!

Now head on over to The Cutting Cafe blog tomorrow Sept. 21st
and see ALL the projects the design team has to show you,
you won't be disappointed!!

Stella Call Me Witch

This is my post today on the

Hi, Diane with you today!
I have a bright, cheerful and fun Halloween card
to share that is super easy to make using
some very cool products and a new stamp set (Stella Call Me Witch) from the

Stella Call Me Witch
I started out by cutting a 5 x 7" black card stock base,
(which I later mounted on a slightly bigger green card stock).
Using a star stencil and Dreamweavers white embossing paste,
I embossed the black panel.
Stella Call Me Witch
White the paste was still wet, I covered it with
Margarita Velvet Glitter.
Stella Call Me Witch
It will look something like this...and don't worry if you have a few
uncovered places, as you will be covering it up later anyhow.
Stella Call Me Witch
I set the panel aside to dry completely
and printed my digital stamp
Stella Call Me Witch, then colored her with copics.
Brushable glue was added to her 'hair'.
Stella Call Me Witch
Sparkle N Soft flocking Blissful Blue was then sprinkled on the Brushable glue.
Stella Call Me Witch
While her hair was slightly drying, I used a circle punch,
coated it with glue, then added Electrified Yellow Glitter for a moon.
I added the digital sentiment (part of the stamp set)
to the moon.
A few bats were punched, then coated with Black Ice Glitter.
Stella Call Me Witch
For even more glittery goodness,
I outlined her hat and star first with Nuvo Glue Pen Small,
then added Reflection Velvet Glitter,
and her shirt with more of the Margarita Velvet glitter.
Stella Call Me Witch
A green bow and ribbon were added along with a
Sizzix Scaredy Cat die cut that was totally covered
with Nuvo Glue Pen Large and then sprinkled
with Black Ice Glitter.
That's it, she is all done!
Stella Call Me Witch
Thank you for visiting with me today!
