Wedding Chapel

This is my post on the Tutti Designs blog today.

Happy New Years Eve!!

Diane here with you using the Chapel die.
such a pretty die and makes a beautiful wedding/anniversary card!

First card, I die cut the chapel from a pretty white, shiny, patterned paper.
Just by adding a few more pretty papers and a few
little pink Roses, made this card perfect for any wedding!

For the next card I die cut the chapel twice,
once from white and then a second from black to give a nice
detailed 'shadow' effect to the card...
a few sparkle gems and a pretty designer paper was all this card
needed to make an elegant card using the chapel die!

When you need wedding/anniversary cards, you will find this die VERY useful
and it is so pretty too!

Piano Cards

This is my post on the Tutti Designs blog today.

Merry Christmas Eve...it tis the season!!

Today is is all about Pianos!
The Piano die is so detailed, yet so easy to die cut.
It can be used for just about any occasion...
birthdays~weddings~just because...anything!

I made three cards with this die with just that in mind...any occasion.

The first card I simply stamped a few music bars on
and die cut the piano from a black glitter paper...very sparkle-y!

The second card, the piano was cut from black card,
and I used a simple background paper
then added a pretty bow for contrast!

Last is my somewhat 'vintage' card.
I found an old looking music piece of ephemera in my stash
and thought is would be perfect for the piano die.

Now you have a bit of inspiration to create using your own piano die!!

Happy Birthday Balloon

This is my post on the Tutti Designs blog today.

Diane here and today I am working with the fun and ever so useful
'Happy Birthday Balloon'...
the die that says it all!!

I have three different cards using this die and they all are so easy!!

My first card I die cut from a teal card stock
then placed it on a white doily
and added a fun butterfly and a sparkle~glitter patterned paper behind!
It requires no other sentiment as the balloon has it all!

Next card I added a cloud background to give the effect
of a balloon floating in the clouds.
The Tutti Designs Nesting Stitched Oval was used for the clouds.

The third card was quickest of all
just by using a fun star background paper and adding
the Happy Birthday Balloon front and center!

It's Snow Time

Snow Time

It has been crazy busy here but finally I now have free time
pretty much through the end of the year to do as I please...
I still want to do a little baking and have a couple more gifts to get
but for the most part I am FREE!

That being said, this year I hardly had any time at all
to create except for the Teams I am on
so told myself THAT was going to change.
Which brings us today to a challenge I saw at

Last year (yep LAST year) I saw this die set on one of the designers blogs
and thought it was cute!  It comes with 6 different circle dies
and doesn't cut out, just cuts the circle with the image inside...super cute!

I created this card by cutting out the snowflake on a white pearlized metallic paper,
then adding a sticky paper behind it and coated each circle with Marine Blue glitter.

I let the snowflakes take center stage and added a ribbon around the middle...no bow.
The ribbon has sparkle in it and is actually how I chose the color
glitter to use, matching the ribbon.

Here is a close up of the die and the glitter.
Thanks for looking!!!

Sending Wishes

Design Team Member At

Today at Dies R Us challenge blog
it is all about  'Anything Christmas'...
kind of our last 'hooray' before Christmas !

I grabbed a die that I have loved since I purchased it..
the Memory Box Corby Ornament die
(all links given below)
and backed it with the Memory Box Drop Ornament die...
unfortunately this die is not available in the store anymore
but I listed it for your convenience of knowing what it is.

I first die cut the ornament from a transfer sheet
then ran it through my Thermo-web laminating machine
using lime green deco foil.
I die cut just a tiny portion of red for the bird.

I added some greenery using Sue Wilson Christmas Robin,
using just the branches.

I added an edge to the card using Lawn Fawn's Stitched Hillside Borders.
The sentiment is from SU.

25 Days of Christmas With Paper Sweeties Day 12

It's my turn today with Paper Sweeties
25 days of Christmas!

If you are busy as I am this next two weeks
then you will appreciate this CAS card as much as I do.

When decorating my own home I came across my Christmas teapots
and my idea was born for this quick and easy card using

Wouldn't you LOVE to own a teapot like this...I know I would!

For the sentiment I used the
by covering up the y'all part with tape before I inked the stamp,
then removed the tape to stamp making this a very versatile stamp...I just love the pretty font on this.

To finish and to make it an 'easy mailer'
the only embellishments are a tied sheer ribbon and a pearl for the teapot lid.

Christmas Shadow Box

Hi All,
it's time for a new challenge at
and our hostess is Darlene and she has chosen the theme of
'Christmas'!

I did a super fun lawn Fawn Shadow box again as I can't seem to stop making these!

This is probably one of my most favorite new dies I have purchased!
It is so fun and so very easy and the scenes you can make are endless!

I made three panels, one for the back and two for the sides
and then embossed them with a snowfall EB folder,

The snow banks~hills are part of the die set as are the trees.

I also used a cute Lawn Fawn set 'Winter Bunny'
using both the the stamps and die.

The sentiment is from Impression Obsession,
I initially wanted to use a
'let it snow' sentiment but this is a Christmas theme after all!

I finished it off with a few little snowflakes!

I hope you will join our last challenge at The Sisterhood for this year,
as then after this challenge we are break until
January 8th since family time is so important during the holidays!!

Tools Tools and More Tools

This is my post on the Tutti Designs blog today.

Hi Tutti Fans, Diane with you today using the fun~fun die 'TOOLS',

This is such a fun die set great for 'guys' but works just as well as for us ladies too!
You know how sometimes 'us girls' just have to 'take care of things ourselves'..LOL!

The first card I die cut from a gray metallic paper
and added to a little denim pocket.

The second card was cut from same paper as above,
but I then cut again from red metallic and added
to a 'cork board' paper!

Last card I also used the Stitched Nesting Round Circle
to place my tools on...how fun are these?

All the sentiments were computer generated.
I surely hope I have given you some great ideas and inspiration for these fun tool die cuts!!

Vintage Rudolph Tag

Wow...I haven't been in my creative room in almost over a week
and I have so much to catch up....
commenting~creating and more!!

But for today I have this cute little tag
I made in the wee hours of the night last week.

This adorable little vintage baby Rudolph came from some baby shower
center pieces I created for our forest themed shower.
So what to do with so many little deer?
I dis-assembled them and created tags.

Here is the sweetest little baby from the shower...
my newest great granddaughter
Everlie Quinn

Little Miss Everlie came to visit me yesterday...
born December 3rd ( our second Dec 3rd grandbaby)
weighing in at 7#'s 14oz!

I also have another snowflake card I created,
this time in blues.

The blue card base has  a sticky paper underneath the snowflake
and I added a blues texture glitter to it.
The die cut used for this card is from
