Will Work For "Sunshine"

Where oh where is that Mr Sunshine????  It's snowing...of course...what else is new...right?  To  add a bit of "sunshine" to my day, I was messing around with a few mini cupcake liners to make flowers....I have several made and only one finished to share....a bright and rather large card.....I used 3 liners to make the flower...hard to tell in the picture, but it is rather "fluffly" in real life!!  the background paper had a date on it of 2007....oh my.....I really need to use up some of what I have!!!

Old Friends Button Wall Hanging

I saw a new challenge on Papertrey Ink this morning using buttons.......I have been wanting to do one of these "hooped" wall hangings for my creative room...I chose to use my wonderful old Golden Retreiver "Nick"...Nick passed away several years ago after being bitten by a snake and fighting the battle for about a year....she is with her "friend" Andy...Andy is still around...he is a neighborhood dog and roams free....Nick and Andy used to "hang out" alot.....Andy still comes...but no Nick...sigh!

I used some of new Papertrey ribbons and buttons for this.....it was fun to make and I hope to make a few more for my room if I ever get it done!!

For my card I chose Melissa Bicford's cute little rainbow....so sunshiney sweet!!!  I rubbed Taken With Teal SU ink over my swiss dots folder and it seemed to just cry out for some bright ribbons.....I cut a red circle to put behind the little tag .....I am loving this...hope I get them all done...I am sure some will be posted late tonight as it will be super bowl time.....sigh.

For You With Love ~ Raining Hearts

Embellish Magazine is having a challenge to use the yummy colors and hearts as shown below ~ I made this card with "raining hearts".....you have to look close to see my bits of green in the hearts...I used the tiny heart punch from Stampin Up for the hearts...I just love this "little guy"...the size of the hearts are perfect!  The umbrella stamp is from Unity.....the tag stamp is a retired SU...the birdie is a SU punch.
A quick post for me today.....working on a Valentine tag, trying to finish my mini's and need to make a card for my hubby for V'Day...and want to send a card to a friend that isn't that all fired up about "heart day"!!

Stitching A "Scrappy Card"

Here I am again with yet another challenge card...just a fun one using scraps and stitching them down...this is for "The Tuesday Throwdown"....the challenge being "stitching"!!  The 3 flowers were cut on my Cricut and  I stamped the dots on with SU Real Red ink.....the little owl is from the new SU sale-a-bration catty (free).......another simple card......no sentiment...I thought it had enough on it the way it is...not even a ribbon...that was hard for me...LOL.....thanks!!

~ My Third Post Today~ I Love You With All My Heart

I made this card for the Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge~a Valentine......I am fianlly getting a start on my Valentines.....for this card I drew a heart with a white pencil on white cardstock and them cut out all my butterflies using a Sizzix SU embosslits die called Beautiful Wings....the embossing folder is also a SU exclusive called Elegant Bouquet........this was rather "picky" to do, as it seems I was all thumbs trying to position all those tiny butterflies...but I do like the outcome.....take a scroll down and look at my other "posts" today...thanks!!!!
TIP:  I also wanted to mention the little heart "charm" that is tied on the ribbon....look for old earrings at garage sales, they make great little "add ons" just by clipping off the parts you want.....so unique and reasonable, too!

My Second Post Today ~ Valentine Owl and Queen

I received my first Stampin Up sale-a-bration set yesterday (bless that UPS man) and had to use the little owl stamp right away......the heart banner he is sitting on is a long ago retired SU set called "Loving Hearts"...I stamped the owl in Taken With Teal and then punched him with my SU owl punch...I think I like the two colors red and teal together!  This little card is for the Simon Says Challenge Show Love

I made this simple Valentine Queen of Hearts using an embossing folder I purchased on HSN last year.....simple...but it works!!!

The Appearance of Cameos In The Moxie Fab World

Good morning,
I have been in such a creative "slump" lately.....I sit at my desk and draw a blank...cannot seem to even come close to creating anything....so I decided to maybe do a few challenges this week to get me going...today I have my card for the Appearance of Cameos  Challenge In The Moxie Fab World ...using a cameo.....fun....I actually spent quite a bit of time making a cameo...and while letting it dry, I popped open a drawer and right on top was a cameo button...well forget the one I made, this one is perfect!!  I made another flower with my new Cricut Mothers Day Bouquet cartridge...I can't leave that cartridge alone!  The little mini vintage "love song" I purchased on Etsy......thanks for looking!!

~ More Inspired "LOVE" ~

I have needed inspiration to get going....it's been so long since I have had time to "create"......to get me moving I visited The Shabby Tea Room for inspiration....what could be better then a challenge.....the challenge is to NOT use designer paper, but to use a stamped image and a handmade embellishment......while cleaning out my creative room I found some very vintage seam binding.....I spritzed it with with glimmer mist ..this was the really old 3 fold kind of seam binding...it took the color well.....I just purchased the paper doilies yesterday...added glitter coated chipboard letters....I also used confetti cardstock for a change....I love how it turned out.....my second post today...woowho...I am on a creative  roll!!

Love Vintage Flower Card CC Challenge & Deer Crossing

I still don't have my mini albums finished to show, but I did manage to make a card with my new Cricut cartridge Mother's Day Bouquet...this cartridge is all flowers...wow...you can cut an entire page like I did of so many mix and match designs....I bought mine from Cricut Machine ...go check out this site if you have a Cricut, the savings are fantastic and the shipping is fast!
I am entering this card in the City Crafters Challenge Blog...to use the word "LOVE"......
I used a bit of old lace and a vintage button to finish off my flower, the edges of the flower were inked with Stampin Up's Soft Suede.......I have yet to make a Valentines card, so maybe this one qualifies for that!

Next is a picture of a herd of deer that I saw crossing our bridge over the creek...there were 14 in all and I shot the photos from my picture window...what a site to see.....they just kept coming out of the woods.....I thought they were headed for my garden, but luckily they just kept going......thats it for today...thanks for visiting!
