Here is my project.

I started out by die cutting a clothesline with an Elizabeth Crafts Designs die
'Country Scapes Wash Day.
I rubbed Nuvo Embellishment Mousse Pure Platinum on, giving the look a real metal.

I next used a piece of scrap paper and cut a few cloud outlines
to use as a template for a cloud background.
This time I used a sponge and added two colors of the Nuvo Embellishement Mousse,
Cornflower Blue for the sky and Spring Green for the grass.

I used an anti static bag, then embossed with Versamark
and
Black Detail embossing powder.

I stamped Corner Garden, colored with Copics,
fussy cut out, added Mauvelous glitter to the flowers
and Margarita glitter to the leaves.
I popped this up along the clothes pole.

The main image Girlfriend Support Set #2
was then stamped with Versamark and embossed with
Flashy Flamingo embossing powder,
then fussy cut out with Tonic 5" mini scissors
and 'hung out to dry'..lol!

Make sure and hop along for your chance to win the entire release
just by leaving a comment on each designers blog.

Next person on the hop is the very talented

More Happy Easter

It has been raining here pretty much non-stop
and more this morning before we see some sunshine.
Not really complaining though as my gardens can sure use the water
(the weeds, too...lol)!
I can't wait for it to warm up enough (and dry) so I can get outside
and start the major winter clean ups!

I have been sick since a week ago Wednesday mostly
with a head cold/sinus headaches which put me put of commission!
I did manage to get most of my Easter decorating done though on
one of my better days and it looks so pretty!

Easter will be here before we know it, so I have an Easter card to share today.
Very simple card at that using the
Tutti Designs Happy Easter die.

A plaid background paper was used to hi-light the die cut,
it is Lawn Fawn Perfectly Plaid.
I love the pretty, pretty colors of papers in this 6 x 6 pad!

I die cut the happy Easter from a white card stock.
added a couple of roses and a bow from my stash of ribbons.
Pretty easy-peasy!!

Make sure and stop back tonight around 9pm EST for the
new April Reveal of stamps from Sparkle N Sprinkle...
you have a chance to win the entire release!

Bonnet Bouquet

Good Morning!
I have a card today using one of the newly released stamp sets for March from

This is the only picture I have as during my 'picture loading'
my Kodak program malfunctioned (froze up) and I lost  my pictures
in the making of this card!
Luckily for me, this one was pretty cut and dried to make, so to speak.

I die cut a Sue Wilson Delicate garden Frame die for a background
and a Tutti Designs Stitched oval and
stamped the image on that using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink
then Copics to color.

I had a die cut butterfly on my desk, so I coated him with Brushable Glue.
then Hyacinth velvet glitter.
I also added Hyacinth velvet glitter to the purple flowers.
Daisy glitter was added to the yellow flowers,
then  added Nuvo Crystal Drops Gloss Sugared Almond enamel dots to the centers.

Denim glitter was added to the bow.

I simply finished by stamping the sentiment with Versamark,
then embossing with Tequilla Sunrise embossing powder.

Make sure to stop on by tomorrow at 9 pm est
as it is the 'Reveal' of the April stamps and digi's
and just by visiting and leaving a comment on
each designers blog, you will have a chance to win the
entire release!!

Yellow and White Daisies

Here we are almost at the end of March,
so hard to believe that time seems to just fly by doesn't it?
I had several challenges I had wanted to join this month...didn't happen.
Maybe April will be better.
We are to have sun today, and it's been awhile, tomorrow we are to get the
storms they had in the southwest,
but only the rain portion of it, nothing severe,
so I had better enjoy that sun today!

Speaking of sun, I have a yellow sunshiny card today.
Yellow is one of my favorite colors.

I have used a Tutti Designs die Daisy Panel,
isn't it pretty?

Another 'simply made' card with a yellow background panel,
a snippet of an embossed card stock
and a pretty yellow ribbon/bow made from my
RRR ribbon club.

I added Nuvo Crystal Drops Dandelion Yellow
to the center of each little flower.

No sentiment, love that, it can be used for any occasion!

Welcome Spring

We are finally getting some Spring temps here
and along with that LOTS of rain!

I have a Spring card today (without rain) using

I die cut from white card stock, colored with Copis
then added a vellum panel behind...pretty simple!

I added a couple of bunnies using IO Rabbit set
after all, it wouldn't be Spring without bunnies!

A butterfly was die cut from Joy Crafts.

Lily of The Valley

Anytime I see Lily of The Valley' it makes me think of my Mom.
Her birthday is in May and it is the May flower,
one she has always loved (those and Pansy's)..lol).
She will be 90 this May.
I don't see her everyday, but I call and talk to her everyday
and once a week I go and clean her house for her.
We have been 'best friends' for years and though things
have changed drastically for her the last few years,
our Mother/Daughter friendship will never go away!.

So my card today is of course made with a
There are 3 different Lily of The Valley dies in the Tutti Store,
you should take a peek at them as all are beautiful.
I have had a few of them on in previous posts.

My card was extremely simple,
letting the die cut take center stage (along with the big bow of course).
I used scrap pieces of gorgeous Graphic 45 paper,
added the ribbon, die cut, colored the flowers and stems
and that was pretty much it.

Yes, there are 'pink' lily of the Valley.
I bought a pink plant about 10 years ago,
it was a bit pricey, but now have enough I share
with any of my garden friends that want one.
Not all gardeners want them as lily of the valley
like to spread and take over a garden if not careful.
But, these pink ones seem to be much slower growers
then the others.
Thanks for visiting me today!

America

Today I have another card to share I made using the March released stamp set
but this time using the image 'AMERICA'.

This was a fun and quick way to make this card first by
applying 3 rows (one at a time) of 1 1/2" Tear-ific Tape.

I did one row at a time,
added Fire Engine Red glitter,
added a second row of tape, added Cloud Nine glitter,
added my 3rd and last row, then Denim glitter.

I stamped the America image first with Versmark
then embossed with Black Fine Detail embossing powder,
used Copics to color
then fussy cut out.

The sentiment was stamped with Versamark, then embossed with
Gold Detail embossing powder.

Thank you for visiting with me today!

More Floral Bunny Goodness

Well heck, I thought since I seem to be on the
Tutti Designs 'Floral Bunny' roll
I would share my 3rd (and last for now) card!

I love this one cut in white and the fact that it can be used for
any occasion, wouldn't it make a pretty birthday card?

I used 3 dies and a punch on this one.
Lawn Fawn Stitched Hillside Borders
Sue Wilson Petite Vinery
Tutti Designs Floral Bunny
The punch I used is a Martha Stewart butterfly punch

Pretty simple card with the dies.
and just adding some hemp twine and a flower button.

If you missed my other two cards with this die, you can see them
HERE and HERE.

Beautiful Moments

Today I have a card I made for the March release at
Sparkle N Sprinkle using the stamp set
Bonnet Bouquet
choosing to use just one of sentiments from the set
and also the single flower.

I started by die cutting two dies,
a Tutti Designs Nesting Stitched Rectangle
and
a Cheery Lynn Designs Chicken Wire Frame.

Next I applied a Super Adhesive sheet (this is sticky on BOTH sides)
over the rectangle background,
then the chicken wire on top.

I die cut a smaller rectangle and stamped the sentiment with Versamark
then embossed with Indian Spark embossing powder.
I then adhered this to the center.

Next I simply trimmed around the edges.

Once trimmed, I covered the entire
sticky paper with Sunny Daze glitter.

Using Nuvo Mousse embellishment Aquamarine,
and a Want2Scrap chipboard bird

I rubbed (with my 'finger' tool) the mousse onto the bird.
I did several layers until I was satisfied with the covering.

While still wet, I sprinkled Sparkling Sea flocking on
to give a slight look of 'feathers'!

I stamped the flower, colored it with Copics,
then fussy cut it out for the bird to 'perch' on.
The bird was then 'popped' up on the card.

I will have another post on the 30th,
once again using this set, but this time it will be the 'main' image....
please come back and visit me to see it...thank you!!

Hoppy Easter

Good Morning!
Well, it seems my hubby has given me his 'crud'...ugh!
He has been sick since Sunday and now he has passed it to me.
It is to be great temps here tomorrow and I had high hopes of
getting outside and clean up some of winter's 'leftovers'
from all the storms and wind we have had...we'll see!

Today's card is using the same die I used the other day HERE.
I once again used the Floral Bunny from Tutti Designs.

I made a rather clean and simple card and let the bunny take center stage.
To give you an  idea of the size of him (or her, since she's pink), this is an
A2 card, which is what I normally make.

I embossed a tree for the bunny t o sit under, added a cotton tail and a few little
flower sequins.
The sentiment is an oldie, at least 8 years or more,
and one I grab to use every Easter!

Lace Doily

A new challenge begins today at
The Sisterhood of Crafters and our hostess is our sister 'Agata'
and she has chosen the theme 'LACE'!

I used a stamp I have had for a very long time from JustRite Stamps
'Lace Doily Background Stamp'.
This stamp has to be at least 3 to 4 years old (or older), I know I bought it before JustRite quit and then restarted their stamps again.

I embossed it on kraft card stock using Versamark ink
I love how this EB powder shows all the fine detail of the stamp....
just like real lace!

I added flowers from my stash,
die cut a few leaves and berries,
which looked like small lily of the valley to  me for this card.

I used ribbon from the ribbon club at RRR to make my bow,
die cut a butterfly and added a few pearls.

Make sure and 'pop' on over to
to see all the 'pretties' the Design Team have to inspire you!

Out For A Stroll

I have a 'just for fun' card today.
I saw this inspiration palette at
and just had to play along
being the cat lover I am...lol!

m1517

I have quite a few cat stamps (dogs too) and cannot resist a challenge
that includes them IF I can find the time.
Well, I am making the time today!

I created a VERY CAS card with a tiny bit of humor in it..lol.

I embossed a tree, added a few birds to it, for a bit of color.

I stamped the cat stamp with Versamark then Black  Detail embossing powder
from Sparkle N Sprinkle.....I love how it looks a little 'furry'.

For a tiny bit of the humor I mentioned above,
I popped a little birdie on the cat's tail...
(and I am sure he is not even aware of it...LOL)
I wonder where that cat is going, he looks like he is on a mission!

This stamp has a date on it of 1991...YIKES...that's 26 years old
(I must of purchased it when I was 2....hahahahaha)!!!
