Celebrating You

 Today at The Sisterhood of Crafters our theme is music
and we would like to see anything musical on your project!

I have a love for these cute little mousers (on stamps only of course)
and had recently purchased the Stampendous Band of Mice and
it worked perfectly for my card for this theme!

The image was stamped on water color paper and then I water colored it with my Tombow markers.

The sentiment is Altenew Sentiment Strips 2.
 I embossed the bright pink background card stock.

Guest Designing at Word Art Wednesday

 Hello friends, I am once again honored to be guest designing this month at

Word Art Wednesday challenge blog!

I created my card using a die cut from Hero Arts Flower Garden Fancy die.
The Bible Verse I was sent to use was the perfect touch to finish 
my card off.  I used a deep purple card stock for the background.

Christmas Trees

 I have been very busy this week working on a few fun things for our
city Shop Local on Saturday.
My daughter is having a small craft sale in her store front
(photography business)
and I will be setting up there.

I purchased the Concord and 9th Take A Bough Encore die
and have been busily making Christmas trees ever since.
There are 8 dies in this set and you cut each one 4 times, 
yikes, that 32 pieces, but oh so worth it!

I have 8 trees so far, they are approximately 8 1/2" tall.

I still have 5 or 6 more to go!
If that wasn't  enough, I also made 32 Santa and Snowman gift card/money holders
I'll show those at a later time!

Peace On Earth

It's that time again for a new challenge at Peace On Earth
and though it is always anything goes we always have a fun mood board
to give you some inspiration which helps me immensely as I do 
like to work off of that!

I let the lower left corner inspire me with all the pretty Christmas ornaments.
I have been purchasing some of the Tonic weekend specials they have
offered all summer and they had a metallic blue paper included in one
so I used that to die cut my Impression Obsession ornament from.
Geez it was a picky thing to die cut!
The white pearlized background paper I dry embossed
was also part of their weekend sale, I thought it worked good with the blue metallic.
The sentiment is an oldie from SU.

I think a lot of the design team let the mood board inspire them as well,

Praying For You

A new challenge at Double D and our theme is 'TREES'.
There is a mood board below for inspiration 
or you can use any type of tree you want! 

I went with pine trees for my card.  My sentiment was suppose to be
thinking of you but I grabbed the wrong stamp
but it seems to work and will be useful for someone that
could use some prayers or even a sympathy card.

The pink paper background, well all I can say you should see the back of it
as it is from P13 and is gorgeous but the pink side worked well
for this card so I had to suck it up and use it!!

Autumn Foiled Leaves

A new Anything Goes challenge starts today at 
Dies R Us
and I once again kept within the Fall theme.

I foiled the Tutti Designs  Leaves Background using transfer sheets
and a hot foil machine.
I also used Sue Wilson Sunflower Bouquet and Karen Burniston Autumn Word Set.
The flowers were colored in with Copics.

The second picture really picks up the beauty of the shimmer of the foil.

Two Old Bats November Mid Month Reminder

Well, the Two Old Bats have a mid month reminder that
there are just a couple of weeks left for our November challenge!

We have the fun mood board below to give you a few ideas!
I usually try to come up with something myself using the 
mood board, only because then I don't have to push my brain too much...hah!

I did let the brooms inspire me this month
and created a slimline card, however it was nothing like I had planned
but it still worked out!
I was going to let the bottom left corner inspire me
and had planned on stamping three brooms all in different colors,
that is until I pulled out the broom stamp and discovered it is much
larger then I had remembered!

 Inspiration Board

 I ended up with just one stamped broom, some designer paper
and a sentiment I recently purchased from Simon Says.
The stars below the broom are part of the same broom stamp
and stamped in purple though you can't tell,
The kitty is a Martha Stewart punch, yah, I actually used one of my punches!

Just A Few Of My Favorite Things

 I caught myself up to Day 2 of the Coffee Lovers blog hop
and hopefully will have my Day 3 card tomorrow, in fact I wish they would limit
one entry per day per person that seems reasonable to me.

For my card I used the cute little bird in a coffee cup image from a
sale I hit last year at Pink Fresh Studio.  It's a real cute set but have to admit
I purchased all because of this sweet bird!
The sentiment is from the same set , it comes with a cute little bird in a hat too!

Hug In A Mug

Today I am joining in the Fall/Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!
I have been wanting to join since it started but something always
seemed to get in the way, so this time I told myself I would enter once a day,
that being said I am already a day behind!

 

For my card I used a super cute set I won from Jillian Vance 'A Hug In A Mug',
This is the cutest set, loaded with fun stamps to put on the mug
as well as lots of fun coffee sentiments!

The pretty paper in the background is Carta Bella Hello Autumn
cut with a Spellbinders die.
The image was watercolored with Tombow Markers.

Give Thanks

A new challenge theme starts today at 
The Sisterhood of Crafters
and the theme was chosen by our 'sistah' Birgit.
She has chosen 'GIVE THANKS', rather perfect for
November don't you think? 

I started with a brown card base for my card,
getting me out of the ordinary white card stock I usually use.

I stenciled an Altenew stencil 'Castle Motifs' with
Altenew ink Vanilla Cream.

The image is Altenew Autumn Bounty as is the die
I used to cut it with.
The sentiment is from the same set and stamped with
Altenew ink Almond Butter.

The image was colored in with various Copics!

Guest Designing At Word Art Wednesday

 Hello All!
Today I have the honor of Guest Designing at the

and this is my card I created!

I used a stenciled background I had already done from my stash
along with a few other already die cut pieces!

With the Bible verse sent to me it made a very easy card to construct!

Farmhouse Plaid

Hello friends, it's that time again for  another anything goes
challenge at Peace On Earth!

We have a fun Farmhouse Mood Board for inspiration
and you can choose to use it or not
just  as long as it's Christmas themed.

As usual I let the mood board inspire me as I have a love for the farmhouse look
and have some of it in my own home for Christmas.

I used the top tight corner and then added the red cardinal from the top left
for a pop of color!

The hills I cut were from a Lawn Fawn die, the trees and cardinal
from Impression Obsession and the papers from Echo Park Lumberjack.
The card is a mini slimline, so fun and quick to make!

Happy Birthday Floral

 While at the lake house I took a lot of stencils and a few stamps
and dies to give me something to do since it was just too cold there
to walk the beach. I did a LOT of stenciling and will show them in the days to come,
but today I have a pretty floral birthday card using one of my newer
stencils from Del Bello's Designs, a Sweet Poppy stencil Leafy Flowers.
 If you have never ordered from this company let me tell you they are
an awesome company, VERY fast shipping and couldn't be any nicer!
They carry most of the Sweet Poppy stencils you have seen around
and some other fun stamps and things!

I used all Altenew inks for my stencil and the bow sentiment has become
a favorite of mine, I stamped and die cut about a dozen of these in various 
colors and sayings, it is from The Greetery Put A Bow On It stamp set and die.
I just can't get enough of The Greetery stamps and dies, I LOVE them all!

I also added some sweet lavender jewels from Pink Fresh Studios!

I created this card for The Flower Challenge add Leaves.
I figured this not only showed the leaves well but the flowers too!

Among Nature

Are you ready for a walk in the woods?
That is what our theme is at Double D Challenges,
anything you might see on a walk in the woods!
We have a fun mood board for a few great ideas but the choices
are endless! 

Where I live we have a woods on our property and see many many different
creatures a lot.  One in particular is a doe with her twin fawns, one year we even had one with triplets!
So, that was my decision, fawns, I originally was going with a squirrel but knew I had these
cute little fawn stamps I had never used.
They are Craft Consortium Best Friends and Little Fawn Stamp sets!
The sets also have creatures such as a mouse, fox hedgie, squirrel, bunny, bird and a stump and a mushroom!  So CUTE!!  

I used Lawn Fawns grass and cloud stencils with some various Dew Drop inks ,
I also masked the fawns and used a gold metallic paint and spattered the card!
The sentiment is from Fun Stampers Journey at Spellbinders 'Spirit Animals'
another great stamp set!

Two Old Bats November Challenge

It's the start of a new challenge month at 
Two Old Bats and as always it's ANYTHNG GOES
but we do have a mood board to get you inspired and
the design team has some fabulous inspiration as well! 

I used the top right corner for my inspiration
and used a never been used before Tonic Studios Halloween broom die,
die cutting it three times and then coloring with my Copics.
The background star is from Tutti Designs
and the background paper is from a newly purchased
Halloween Paper pad by Echo Park I love Halloween.
I have to admit that is one of the reasons I love our year round Halloween challenge
is that I never seemed to have much time to create Halloween cards
so rarely used my stuff and never bought any new,
now I can do both, use my old AND buy new!!!

Leaves of Fall

November 1st brings us to a new challenge at Dies R Us with the theme
always anything goes!  Even though we can use whatever dies we have
I try to stay within the theme of the month!

I have used this die in a past DT obligation but it is so pretty and fun I
decided to show it here as well.
If you want to see it in different colors, it can be seen HERE.

This is  a stencil die set  and after die cutting you simply
place the stencil on top and create the colors.
I have used Tim Holtz Oxide inks
Shabby Shutters~Seedless Preserves~Fossilized Amber
for the leaves and Momento Lilac Posies for the sentiment
which is from now out of business Sparkle N Sprinkle.

I added a few gems for sparkle and had considered
splattering with gold paint too, but chickened out!

November Fall Four Seasons Challenge

 It's our last month for the FALL challenges at
Four Seasons before we move into our winter challenges
starting next month!

Need some inspiration?

Well, look no further as we have a fun mood board
with plenty on it to get you in the Fall creating mood!

I let the bottom right corner inspire me with the pumpkins
and the cute wire basket!
I had recently purchased in the summer a wire basket die from The Greetery
and couldn't wait to put it to use and this was the perfect time
for it to make it's debut on my blog!
The basket die comes in 3 different sizes and has so many options for use, I used the largest in the set.
I used a solid background piece for this one,
but it is shown using a designer paper background too
which is really pretty so will try that another time!

My checked background paper came from my stack of 12x12 papers,
which I needed to make my slimline card.
The wheat is Impression Obsession and the pumpkins
are from a Sue Wilson set.
I felt it needed a bit of sparkle, so added some gems from Pretty Pink Posh.
