Now for my card.

It is time to 'celebrate'
as it that time of the month
for Sparkle N Sprinkle to release all the new stamp sets and digital sets for the month!

I joined right in the celebration with my own
'celebrate' card!

I used two different stamp sets for my card,
the newly released and so beautiful Leafy Flower Spring Wreath
and another set from previous release that is a favorite of mine
called Demo Donna's Stylin' Sayings

I used Versamark and the 'sprinkles' stamp
and randomly stamped around the edge of the card base.
I first stamped the upper half,
but left the center blank as I knew that is where I
was putting my wreath image.

I then embossed with Tinsel embossing powder.
The sentiment was stamped next, once again with Versamark
then embossed with Berry Bliss embossing powder.
The sentiment is part of the Demo Donna's Stylin' Sayings.

Once the sentiment was done, I continued stamping and embossing
the rest of the base randomly  the same as the  top part was done.

I used a Spellbinders Exquisite Circles die to stamp my image on.
Copics were used to color the  image.

Once the coloring was done, a Nuvo Medium Tip Glue Pen was used
on both the bow and flowers,
then glittered with Raspberry Soda glitter.
You can see the difference it makes adding the gorgeous glitter.

To finish I added Nuvo Crystal Drops Carnation Pink to each flower center.

Thank you for visiting with me today and make sure to
do the blog hop and leave comments on each designers blog for your chance to win
a fabulous prize!

Next on the hop is the very talented Shona!

Showers of Sweetness

Pretty card today using another of the beautiful stamps
Sparkle N Sprinkle released in January.

The set I used is 'Emily Showers of Love'.

I used a plain white card stock for the base, then die cut a
Cherry Lynn Designs Victorian Garden Frame.
I adhered 1 1/2" double sided Tear-ific Tape to the back of the frame,
then burnished (with my finger)
Cloud Nine Velvet glitter all over in the cut outs.

I stamped my image, then die cut with a Tutti Designs Stitched Heart,
then colored her in with Copics.
Using a Nuvo Glue Pen (small), I added it and more of the
Cloud Nine Velvet glitter to the rain and puddle.

I finished by embossing the sentiment with Versamark and
Silver Detail embossing Powder.

Thanks for visiting with me today!!

Hearts and Flowers

Snowy day here in Michigan
even the local schools are closed,
so if the schools close in Michigan then you know it is very slippery/messy out.
Good day to be in my creative room and just stay warm and cozy!

Today I have yet another Tutti Designs Valentine die to share with you.
I love these dies as most can be used for various other occasions as well!

This one is pretty simple using the

The background heart paper is a scrap left from a
Martha Stewart paper pack.
I added a bit of washi tape at the bottom
(I remember when washi was first out and hot hot hot
and I couldn't wait to get my hands on some...
now I have a bunch of it and never ever even use it..lol)!!

I added some paper roses, snippet of ribbon
and a punched sentiment.

That's it for this one.....
come back tomorrow to see my last card from
Sparkle N Sprinkles January release
and then at 9pm tomorrow we will
be showing our new release for February and you won't
want to miss that...the stamps are gorgeous
and you can win ALL of them just by leaving a comment
on each designers blog....that's tomorrow!!

Faith

This is my post on the NEW Sparkle N Sprinkle blog today!

Hi, Diane with you today with a new stamp released this month

I first embossed with Versamark, then Black Fine Detail embossing powder on a Tutti Designs Stitched Nesting Tag die cut.
I thought the black embossing would really showcase the beautiful flowers.
The flowers were colored with Copics.
I embossed the sentiment on a Tutti Designs Stitched Nesting Oval die,
once again using Versamark and the Black Fine Detail embossing powder.
A strip of Tear-ific -Tape 1/2" was added to the left side
and
two strips of Tear-ific Tape 1/4" was added down the right side
of the card base, then were burnished with Cyclamen glitter.
A simple bow was added to finish.
Thank you for visiting with me today!

Be My Valentine

The Valentines are starting to appear....
fine by me as I LOVE Valentines Day and hearts!
I think this country needs to see more 'heart,
how about you...
that's all I'm saying!!

This is another card I made for a sample for Tutti Designs...
I had been wanting a hot air balloon die forever and
it seemed I just never got around to ordering one
and I am so GLAD I held off
as this one has to be a favorite one I have seen yet!

It is called 'Heart Air Balloon'...heehee, cute name isn't it!

Pretty simple card really.
Just die cut, added a few glittery hearts, some fluffy clouds,
pretty ribbon bow and a sentiment...done!

This balloon can be used for many occasions
besides just Valentines!

Pink Valentine

It seems January is getting close to going 'bye bye'
and February will be closing in
which brings us closer to Valentine's Day.

I love Valentine's Day!
I love all the hearts and of course the 'chocolate'
The hubby is pretty good with getting me a card and gift
the gift is usually 'moolah'
but I'll take it (more craft supplies...lol)
However, I think this year I just got my gift.
My Big Shot had the 'big one' as they say
and went to Sizzix heaven yesterday!
He bought me a new one and it will be here tomorrow...yippee!!

So, for today I have a card I made for Tutti Designs
using a newly released Valentine die
'Heart of Hearts Corner'

This is a rather large corner die which makes it so perfect to make a
'pocket' with.

I simply cut around the outside of the die cut to make a solid back for it
then, left the 'inside open'
so I could add my tag.

The tag pulls out with a sweet Valentine message on it
(I forgot to take a picture of just the tag, so will come back and add it later)!

Yellow Cattelya's

Think Spring!!
That is what my card is about today
and the yellow colors make me so HAPPY!!

I used a newly released stamp set 'Cattelya Friendship"
from Sparkle N Sprinkle.
I 'googled' the Cattelya Orchid and 'wow' it is amazing
how many different colors/varieties  these flowers come in...
lots of options to color here!

I embossed white card stock with We R Memories Dots embossing folder.
The image was stamped with Versamark
then embossed with White Detail embossing powder.

I die cut it out using a Sue Wilson New Zealand Auckland die.
It was then colored with Pan Pastels, giving a very soft look.
I added 1/4" Tear-ific Tape around the edges
then burnished (with my finger tool)
Spirited Green glitter on.

I basically did the same as above for the sentiment,
using a smaller die from the set
and this time embossing with Black Fine Detail embossing powder.

To finish I die cut a Joy Butterfly, then embellished it with
Nuvo Embellishment Mousse in Lemon Sorbert YUM!

I'll be back later this week with another SNS project
and remember to mark your calendar for the 31st at 9pm,
as it is our February 'REVEAL' of  our stamp release for the month
and my oh my you will LOVE this release!!

Also we have a new blog at SNS you can visit it HERE,
the team has some really beautiful projects to inspire you...take a peek!

The Sisterhood Challenge Simply Made

Today at The Sisterhood of Crafters Terri is our hostess
and she has chosen the theme
"Simply Made"
meaning not a lot of embellishments on or a one layer card so to speak.

Well, I took the theme totally to heart and made a
pretty much CAS card, leaving lots of white space.

I don't know what made me think of these little critter stamps  I have had forever,
but for some reason they came right to mind...lol!

I do have to confess though,
simple as this card is I had to stamp it 3 times
before I liked it.
The first two times I stamped with 2 different brands of inks,
I won't mention them as I LOVE both
but they were too 'blah' for these guys.
here is a small sample of what  I mean

Then I had a 'light bulb' moment
and decided to use embossing powders!

All the products I used came from Sparkle N Sprinkle.
The little guy on the left I used Coffee EB powder
and the little gal on the right I used Berry Bliss,
isn't that a unique color?  Love it!!
to the center of her flowers.
The hearts were embossed with Red Apple.
I don't know abut you, but I think EB powder is magic...lol...
it just comes to life once it is heat set!
( Some of the links of the products used are from 2 different Sparkle N Sprinkle 'stores' as we are in the process of swapping over to a new store...and it is wonderful!

as soon as all products are moved over the link will be

We would love to have you join our challenge at

Hearts

I am excited as hopefully this is the LAST week
I have to take my Mom to radiation,
it is exhausting for both of us!!
So thought I would share a card I made that hasn't made it to my blog yet.

Have to love hearts and have to love red this time of year!
This card was created using another of the
fabulous new dies from Tutti Designs called

Pretty clean and simple card and another easy mailer..love that!

I die cut the heart twice and placed
the white under the red to set if off a bit.

I used a heart embossing folder,
one which I absolutely adore!!

Just a cute little banner across the top and that's it!

Gingham and Hearts

I love gingham and I love hearts
so why not combine the two together for a CAS card!

This card was made as a store sample for the
Tutti Designs store using one of the many, many new
Valentine/Heart dies 'Lovely Heart Grass'.

I added a twine bow just for that extra little 'punch'!
Still an easy mailer and so simple to create
but I love how it all came together using just a snippet piece of paper
and a pretty die cut!
