More Thrifting At The Nest

I spent Friday and Saturday morning scouting the local garage sales for more items for my "collections"! These pictures show only SOME of the items I found.....was a good day of "thrifting"!

I am always on the lookout for vintage tin trays and tin containers...the one tray I found was awesome, I feel if I can find even 1 tray on my hunts, its a good day! I also am always looking for glass dishes with lids, they just appeal to me for some reason. The lamps I found were $2 each, the shades are Laura Ashley and were $1 each, and check out those wood pull toys, they are made in Greece, perfect to put in the grandkids toybox! Since I am a Stampin'Up! demo., finding the 1997 set of 8 SU stamps for $4 was like heaven to me, as was the great wood, silver box, and it even had about 12 serving spoons in it, all for $1. I got the Longaberger planter for $2, and 4 (not shown) longaberger basket liners for 50 cents each! I loved the lighthouse print, I will frame that, now keep in mind even though I live in a log cabin, some of these items will be going to the lake house, much more the cottage chic look! Now am waiting for next weeks "finds"!

Wow Diane! I am jealous! You scored! It would take 2 weekends and 1 flea market on top of the garage sales to get that many wonderful goodies! Beautiful stuff!
I hope you are doing well!

Hi Diane Thanks for leaving a comment on my blog. I always love to meet new bloggers. I have only been blogging since Nov. so I am still pretty new at it!
Wow you scored some great finds. I love that tin tray. It looks like it was made in England. Tell your husband the music isn't Frank. It's Michael Buble :)
Hope you'll come back to visit again. Next time I'll make us a pot of tea.

Hi again Diane
I forgot that I have Frank singing on my blog!! I usually don't listen to it and since people often think Michael Buble sounds like Frank(he doesn't hold a candle to Frank Sinatra in my opinion) I just assumed your husband did. My apologies to hubby!
Hope youhave a great day.
