I made this Three Little Kittens card last night in "honor" of the newest memebers to our family! Around Thanksgiving we had another "drop off" kitty arrive. When you live in the country, you are a "prim" candidate for that happening frequently. I tried to shoo her off, but she was hungry and determined to stay. Very unusual for this time of year, but she had a litter of 5 kitties yesterday! She is headed to the vet as soon as she gets her little family raised and we will keep her, she is a sweetie! That was the good news, and without going into all the "gorey" details, after several calls to the vet yesterday morning, I HAD to, as instructed by the vet, tie off all the cords and clip them. Now if you knew me, you would know that for me to do that without passing out and or throwing up, was quite an accomplishment to say the least! My hands were shaking so bad and I was crying so much, I can't even believe I did it, but as the vet said, I HAD to, it was a life or death matter.....enough said....kitties are well....my nerves have settled down...and we are back to normal...almost!
The stamp set I used is from Alpha Stamps, which I just purchased from "Addicted to Rubber Stamps", as they had a terrific sale last Wednesday! Don't be too critical on my "coloring" as the last thing I colored was a House Mouse stamp before Xmas, and I feel like I am starting all over again! the buttons I purchased yesterday when I purchased the blog candy! I added some gree floss to the center, as that is what I grabbed to use on the kitties"cept" theirs was red, so I could see what I was doing!
The DS paper is from Making Memories...it is a fab pad of somewhat a vintage look of 4 x 6 paper. The cardstocks are of course SU as that is all I will ever use, colors are Certainly Celery and Pink Pirouette...I added a little Stickles for a slight "bling"
Last: Don't forget to sign up for my "super duper" blog candy to be drawn on Sunday evening! You can sign up on this post or the original blog post below for a chance~good luck!
