Grow Your Own Blog Party~Starts January 19th

How about a party to start the weekend??
does that sound like fun??

Well, at "2 Bags Full" Vicki had an idea...
an idea to bring all sorts of blogs together....in one big group
where we can hop from blog to blog and "meet" new friends
discover new blogs...find new ideas....sounds like fun...
oh...and some blogs will have giveaways...
and you don't have to follow a blog or jump through hoops to enter...lol

However, I would love to have you follow my blog~subscribe, only if you really want too

Stay with me and find out about my giveaways.....

A tiny bit about "me"
My hubby and I have 5 children
he has 2 sons, me I have 2 sons and a daughter
which makes us have 18 grandchildren and one great
and
they all live by us!!!!
We live in Michigan, in a log home, on a creek
we love living here....so pretty and peaceful
and in 15 minutes I can be in the best shopping mecca anywhere....
we call it the best of both worlds...lol...

I have two blogs, one I badly neglect, poor thing...but this one is mostly about
my paper creating...I love to make anything with paper, cards, mini books and albums
altered items, flowers...you name it, I love it....if you scroll down
you can see some of my creations.

I also sew...I love to sew using old linens, quilts, laces and such, as well as pretty fabrics....
for years my sister and I had a homeshow in my home with all our primitive creations
I miss it....but we just grew too fast.....faster then we could sew.....

My other love is flower gardening.....oh how I love that.....I can hardly wait for April
to get here, so I can get back into getting dirty!!

Now for the giveaway.....mine is a surprise....the only thing you need to do, is tell me
if you would prefer a home decor item, or papercrafting items...thats it...anyone can sign up
from anywhere...it will be chosen random dot.org
I will post two winners on Feb 1st...give away is open until Jan 31st....
Now go visit...the link is above to 2 bags Full

Hello, it is lovely to meet you on the blog hop. Your gardening is beautiful, mine is a bit of a disaster to say the least. I do enjoy vintage fabrics too though. Thank you for sharing a surprise giveaway, I would prefer something for the home.

Diane, thanks for the visit and I too hope you can join in again this week at SCH,wow! this heart card is over the top stunning and your garden is one I can only dream of. I have always loved the look of casual elegance that you have achieved but alas mine always looks as if I have just thrown it there, lol, but I still love my flowers. Poppies are one of my faves both in the garden and on paper. I am going to follow as I can't wait to see your next posts.
As to a prize, either one would be wonderful, so place me in either stack.
hugs and enjoy the rest of your weekend.
Patti

Hi, Diane! Thanks for stopping by my blog today! I came by to check your blog out, and when I saw your great creations, I started to follow you, too. :0)
What a gorgeous, gorgeous card this is! I love the texture and depth, all the layers are super!
Your flower garden is beautiful! I am a MI girl, born and raised, until we recently left there (two years, almost) and reside in SC. It is nice having the warmer winters, but I do (sort of) miss the MI snow - there's nothing like MI snow, you know?!
Anyhow, beautiful card, lovely blog! I'll be back again soon! Ciao for now!

Hi Diane I'm so glad I made it here - your creations are gorgeous.
I love those white paper cards made with the Sizzix. I think they look stunning as I only create mainly in fabrics, vintage laces and doilies to create collages.
I love your pretty pretty poppies and that soft pink iris being a gardener myself I can so enjoy these.
Come over and enter yourself in my Giveaway if you like lacey collages.
Wishing you all the very best with blogging!
Suzy
