Well, I have to tell you, it's been awhile since I created anything
except for working on my designs for the guest designer post I will be doing....
AND it has been rather crazy around here....
first, while driving home from "Up North" as we like to call it, a BIG Hawk was
at the side of the road, and as we approached him (we were doing 70) he flew up and
away and then turned right at us...I covered my face with my hands and ducked, as I
thought he was coming thru the windshield, but he hit the hood of my SUV crossover
and put a mammoth size dent in it.....nice...not!!
No harm was done to the hawk!!!
Then we had a demented woodchuck, he ran around the house and tried to get in the
slider at the bedroom, this was after he tormented our outside cat.....
he is now in woodchuck heaven!!
This am, I woke up to a house full of ants in the cat food dish....
and to make my day perfect, I took my shower with the shower liner hanging out
and didn't notice it til I stepped out and had a flooded bathroom..
well, at least the floor is clean now..lol
So, that has been my week, I tell you sometimes country life can be a bit trying
and condo life is looking better and better...lol!!
To end the perfect week, we have 3 men with guns on the run in our area...
they robbed a store in our town and ended up out here in the country...
remember the pictures of the country wedding I shared??
Well, they think one of the men is hiding in their woods and she has police
from 4 departments hunting for him....a state police helicopter is on it's way...
we are all locked up.....it has been the most bizarre week!!
Edited to add, all 3 were caught, however, they think there is a 4th
still on the run..
After that being said, I finally took a break and made a card.....
I have been seeing on a few blogs some Christmas challenges...
I have thought of joining in numerous times, but this one really caught my eye....
Using my favorite (again) Cheery Lynn Designs die "French Pastry Doily"
and the Cheery Lynn Designs O'Tannebaum Xmas Tree die,
I came up with this card.
I didn't have any pink pearls so I colored white ones with a SU marker
And I wanted to share a picture I took today in my garden
of my beautiful red Hibiscus.
