A Friend Will Always Be There

Happy Saturday Everyone...
I hope you are having a fun and creative day.....
It is a bit gloomy here today and a whole lot humid...
with a bit of "sprinkles" in the air...
we are to have T-storms later this afternoon.....

I have lost my mojo it seems,  I often wonder where it goes....
I guess we all need a "vacation" at times...lol....

I have a HUGE list of things I need to be doing
but decided to look through my challenge list,
pick one and maybe that would give me a "jump start"....

I chose the "June" monthly challenge at Viva la Verve.....
I used the "week 4" sketch and created my card with bits and pieces
and a few little "Nature Walk" journaling cards from" Pretty Little Studio"

here is the sketch if you would like to join in.....

I also wanted to share a few of my surprise  lilies...
I call them that as last year I purchased a bunch of them color unknown
at a markdown of 50 cents a pot at Lowes.....
I actually had forgotten about them until they started coming up...
most of these are from my "kitchen" garden....
I call it that as I planted herbs and such outside my kitchen deck
and it grew into a full fledged garden...lol....

I also have a "Clematis I am showing....growing in the same garden....
I'll be back tomorrow hopefully with more flowers to share if you "want to take a peek"!!!

WOWZA girl! This card is ADORABLE and even tho that sketch looks difficult to me you've done a bang up job! Well done for 'no' mojo! LOL! Love the sentiment too ... FRIEND!!
Your 'color surprise' lilies are GORGEOUS! I'll have to remember that and keep an eye on my Lowes for that end of season deal. They are only a mile away so I can check often and 'fill in' any blank spots I might have. What a beautiful view out your kitchen window now ... AWESOME!! You certainly have a green thumb! And your photography is amazing!

Cute card Diane. You did a great job with the sketch.

Your lilies are gorgeous. I haven't seen some of the colors. Beautiful outside your kitchen too. Thanks for sharing them with us. Love this part of blogging when we can "live" a part of each other gardens and lives.

Oh, Diane, your card is TOO CUTE! Adorable image and great sketch. It's happy and I LOVE it! Also, GORGEOUS lilies! I used to have tons of both Asiatics and Orientals but they got old and went away. Now I don't know where I'd put them, but I do SO love them. It's such a thrill to see your flowers blooming. Please DO share more anytime!
