Rose Garden

Good Morning!
Today is a new challenge at the "Dies R Us" challenge blog
and our theme is "Flourishes"

I think I was in the "Spring Time" mood when I started making this card!
I bought the Rosy Rose die before Christmas, but wasn't quite sure
how I was going to "fill" in the color.
This particular die, cuts an outline of the rose, making many, many options to
choose from for color.
I had purchased a bit of "Origami"  paper that was made in Japan with
another project in mind, but there are so many papers in the packet, that
I "snatched" one out for my Rose.  It is a tone on tone, almost see threw
paper that I thought was perfect for it.  After cutting out the die, I used
some spray E6000 and applied to my paper (Scor-tape paper works well, too).
I then hand cut the entire piece out, it was fast and easy!

The gorgeous paper underneath is
Wild Rose Studio Annabelle's Garden paper pack.
I just love these paper packs as the prints are so pretty and dainty,
perfect for cards!
I mounted my Rose, leaves and my flourish sprigs on a Spellbinders die
cut from the Exquisite Circles set...one of my favorite dies!

The pretty ribbon/bow, I was standing in the checkout line at Michaels and they
had their $1 ribbons close by and I just happened to see this odd color of sheer,
so I grabbed it, (along with a few others)...and I was instantly happy when it
matched the papers and my Rose perfectly!

These are the dies I used with links to Dies R Us

So, why not pop on over to the challenge blog and take a peek at the other beautiful creations my
Design Team sisters have to show you!!
Did you know that when  a die is "out of stock"
you can put your name in to be notified
