Hi, Diane with you today.
I am not sure where you live,
but it is really feeling like fall here.
Our pine trees have dropped hundreds and hundreds of pinecones,
a sure sign of what is to come...WINTER!!
The card I an showing today starts off with an ivory card stock base.
Next, I used a beautiful Echo Bronze Stardream Metallic card stock.
If you could see this in person, you would see how beautiful
this is with the metallic peeking through.
The next layer is Memory Box Pinecone Frame cut from
Graphic 45 French Country.
I love how the metallic paper shows through the pinecones and branch.
I added a sentiment from a Flourishes stamp set,
which was embossed with Sparkle N Sprinkle Gold Detail Embossing Powder.
I added a few gold sequins for some texture.
Did you know you can make your own sequins?
You can using My Favorite Things Sequin die.
I love this, as I can have any colors, designs of sequins I want!
To finish, I added a metallic bow.
Thank you for visiting with me today!

Beautiful to let the die cut design steal the show like that! The sequins and ribbon are fabulous companions. Evergreen cones and needles are dropping like crazy here. More so than usual, but I understand that happens when the trees are hurting for water. We are definitely hurting for water here. Light rain today, though. Stamping time!
Beautiful Thanksgiving Card! Thanks for joining us this week at HIMCR!
