April Showers Bring May Flowers

Time for a new challenge at
This week Team Darlene is hosting
and I am joining in from Team Diane!
The theme is April Showers Bring May Flowers
and using the inspiration tile below!

My entire card once again, was based on the scrap piece
of designer paper you see.
I have been straightening/cleaning out my 12 x 12 paper rack
and came across this paper with the rain boots on it.

I also knew I had purchased a rain stamp a year or so back
so it was stamped with versamark on vellum,
then heat embossed with white embossing powder.

I used die cuts for the umbrella (Spellbinders) and tulips (Memory Box)
and the cloud (Memory Box).
I stamped my sentiment on the cloud.

To keep it a bit flatter, instead of a bow,
I just added a tied ribbon piece!

Now pop on over to the
Double D Challenge blog to see what the DT has
created to inspire you to join along.
As usual this is a fabulous prize being offered,
one which the entire DT is drooling over..lol!!

Entering the following challenges:
Mod Squad .... Water, Water Everywhere
Scrapyland .... Oh Happy Spring
Word Art Wednesday .... ATG

Dare I say this is one of your cutest cards ever? The umbrella with the tulips is so very cheerful and fun, and the cloud with the rain on vellum coming down from it is a brilliant design idea! Oh, how I love that detail. And, of course, the paper is perfect, and just that little bit of ribbon... so extremely adorable all over!
