Stained Glass Poppies

This is my post on the Tutti Designs blog today.

Hi, Diane with you today with a couple
fabulous cards using the Tutti Designs Poppies Stained Glass die.

I have two cards today created very different.

The first card it full of total 'SPARKLE'!
It looks hard to do but it's not at all.
I simply die cut the poppy stained glass die,
then adhered it to a piece of sticker paper.
I added a fine white glitter (Cloud Nine) to that and rubbed it in with my finger.
Then I simply used my Copics to add the colors.
You don't need to press hard when doing this as the pens
seem to flow on the glitter, just wipe your pens off to remove the
glitter off the tips when done.
That simple and it looks great!!
I added a few paper layers, hemp cord and a wooden owl button.

The second card was created by die cutting, then adhering to a piece of vellum,
then coloring on the backside with Copics.
It gives a nice soft look.

Beautiful stained glass look and I love the way you did the glitter version. I may have to try that myself soon. I like the other version on the vellum as well. This is a beautiful die.

Oh, yes, love these stained glass dies! I made two cards with the landscape die yesterday. So fun and pretty! Love these flowers both ways. I'll need to try the glitter thing someday. Love what you did with your layouts, and that owl is a cutie! I have two more of these dies yet to use, bought at DRU on a fantastic sale. You really sold me! Thanks!
