Ornaments

Happy December!!
At Double D our fun theme is all about ORNAMENTS!
We want to see ornaments on your projects.
We have a fun and somewhat vintage inspiration board for you!

I have so many Christmas paper scraps that I adhered several down on a
piece of card stock then die cut my ornament with an IO ornament die.
The background is saved from an embossed vellum piece that was
the cover inside and envelope of a card I received, perhaps from Judy?
I pulled an already frame die cut (IO)from my stash and placed my ornament
inside the frame.  A Spellbinders handmade poinsettia was added to that!

Come on over to Double D and have some ornament fun with us
and check out all the beautiful inspiration from the design teams!!

Entering the following fun challenges:
Halloween Crafts & Other Occasion's .... Christmas
Allsorts ....  Winter Flowers~Fauna
Try It On Tuesday .... Traditional Christmas
The Holly & Ivy Christmas Challenge ... Anything Christmas
I Spy With My Little Eye .... Christmas

This is gorgeous! I love the Christmas Designer Papers, the little ornaments on your ornament--so sweet! The texture, the Vellum and the frame really add so much beauty to this gem! ruth be told, I also save all of Judy's Vellum shims lol Love that you used it! Merry Merry!

What a pretty, pretty card! The printed papers make the sweetest ornament topped with a gorgeous poinsettia. The background is perfect for this. I think I have one sitting in my stash, also from Judy. A lovely inspiration piece for this challenge!

Whoa! I love all of the texture in this background that brings your eye right to that multi patterned Christmas ornament. That little poinsettia is the bomb too.

What a wonderful design here. I love the color you used on that poinsettia, it looks so real. Gorgeous card, and great take on the challenge.

I do believe this is the prettiest ornament I've seen this year! A stroke of genius to piece the papers and then cut. Wow! I love that idea. And then to add the poinsettia... over the top!
