I found two different idea's to make these "pansies"...the concept is the same, just a "tad" different....that is where "use one to make another" comes in......the Stampin Up butterfly punch to make a pansy...yes, you heard me right....I just love it when these punches can go way further then "what they were intended for"....I didn't have the color of re-inkers used in the links , but made do with what I had until I can order what I need.....I used Rich Razzleberry and Crushed Curry for my first card...different, but there are lots of different color pansies now...I love the pure white and the apricot ones, and they even have pink ones.....here are the links for them.....the first is from Dostampinwith dawn she even has a wonderful video of it......the second is from Flowerbug she is using markers or watercolor crayons for hers.....a totally different look.
The card I made is for my Mom's birthday...she is 83 today...she loves pansies...think I will grab her a bunch to go with the card...and her Lowes gift card (at 83 she says she doesn't "need" anything...so a gift card is well received).
This card was made with the water color crayons and my black SU marker...I used Elegant Eggplant and So Safron...gee this card is much better IRL.....!!
Will be back tomorrow with more of what I found during my "surfing"...you won't want to miss it!!!
If you would like to order the butterfly punch used...let me know and I can order it for you!!!

Hey Kiddo! I'm back to blogging and had to come see your stuff! First, Happy Birthday to your Mom! Bless her heart! I hope she has a super wonderful day today. Secondly, these pansies are perfect! What a great way to think out of the box! Yours are just beautiful, and they make a great card! BTW, got the package and I thank you so much! Best, Curt
WOW...you did a great job with these! I had seen this last week too and you'd never know they were made from a butterfly punch!
WOW love these! your flowers are beautiful. Hugs
Oooh weee! This is gorgeous. I especially like the first card with the yellow tinged pansies. This is a really cool idea! Thanks for the inspiration.
