Retro Snowman Wall Hanging

I have two other posts today.

Hello "crafty" friends or should I say "Crafty Secrets" friends!!
Here we are at Dec 1st already and that means it's time for our
where each member of the  Crafty Secrets design team brings you a
fabulous tutorial
AND
where you can join in a challenge with us where everyone is a winner!!
All you need to do is use a "Crafty Secrets" product
and there are a ton of them  offered FREE to use!!

Before we get started I wanted to mention that
Sandy has just released a NEW digital stamp set "Vintage Santas"
29 images in all and they are fantastic!!
Make sure and take a peek at them HERE!
I didn't use them in THIS project, but you can see one of them
on my Friday's post HERE
and you will see them on my blog in the next few weeks!!

My tutorial today is a rather easy and a very FUN one.
We will be making a "Retro Snowman Wall Hanging"
I have to say I was "Pinterest" inspired to make one
ALL the images, papers you see have come from this CD.

First thing is you want to choose your images and print them.
Gather up some supplies you might need to decorate your piece with.

Cut out all your printed images and set aside.
The label you see I printed is my "MAIN" piece which I will "build"
my wall hanging on.
Because it is the main piece, it needs to be somewhat sturdy,
so trace it on a heavier piece of cardboard and cut out.
I laid it face down to trace, so my pencil makings would not show on the front side.

Adhere the two pieces together.  Let dry.
Punch two holes at the top to attach your wire to, to hang!

If you want to add glitter to your cut out pieces, this is the time to do it!
(I added glitter to the snowman hat, wreath, holly and his "coal"
down the front of him, as well as a "snow writer" on
all the snow you see on him, giving a 3D effect!!)
Add you glitter, then set aside to completely dry!
Take a little break, have some coffee, let the dog out, grab a piece of chocolate...
is the glitter dry?  Yes, good, back to work!!

Somewhat lay your pieces out how you want them.
Once you are satisfied with your placement, adhere them in place!

Now comes the fun part, adding all your little bits and bobbles.

I cut a banner from my Retro digital papers I had printed...
this particular paper was absolutely perfect for these banners!

So there you have it, my finished piece.
It is somewhat large, just perfect to have in my kitchen for the holidays I think!!

Now head on over to the Crafty Secrets blog
and see all the wonderful creations my teammates have created.
Here is a direct link to all  their tutorials.
Give them a visit and leave them some love!!
