Bunny May Pole Dance

Good Morning my Crafty Friends!!

This adorable Crafty Secrets image brings back a lot
of childhood memories for me.
When we were little (many moons ago..lol)
we had had our own "May Pole"....
it was so fun to "dance" around!!
We also made May baskets of flowers and delivered them
to the neighbors steps.
Do you remember that tradition?
Where you would set the flowers on the front step,
ring the doorbell, then run and hide to see your
neighbor pick up their Spring basket of flowers!!
Love the memories!

So when I saw this sweet, sweet image of the bunnies and the May Pole
I knew right away I wanted to use it!!
The image comes from
I colored with my Copics, and the May Pole has been "embellished"
with a Clear Star gelly roll pen.
I wish you could see it, as it is so sparkle-y and fun!!

The background paper is from Crafty Secrets Sew Decorative CD.
The little ticket in the corner is Crafty Secrets Creative Scraps Easter!

I used some hand died seam binding and a ribbon scrap for my double bow.
The little flowers and pearl stems are from my stash!!

Thank you for visiting with me today.

I love this vintage image and the tattered edges of the image panel are perfect. The flowers give it the perfect touch.

Awesome and beautiful! I was in a Maypole Dance in college....a yearly tradition...does that tell you how old I am? Wonder if today's kid know what it is! Thank you for joining us with your lovely card in our Doodle Pantry Challenge 3 Ants in the Pantry.

Such a sweet card Diane! I do remember the May Pole Dance ... we had something special at the high school but do not remember the baskets of flower to the neighbors thing ... maybe we were too remote for that part of the tradition but sounds like something they should start up again! "Be Kind to your Neighbor" Day! Have a great day and thanks for always sharing your talent and stories with us ...

The image is so totally adorable, and what a super sweet and pretty card! You sure sent me on a walk down Memory Lane. We did May Pole dances in gradeschool and it was amazing how they were choreographed. So beautiful! And then the May baskets... so fun to make the baskets and fill with goodies for the neighbors. Does anybody still do that, I wonder?

This is so cute, but I have to tell you..that bow is what caught my eye. Using the seam binding and then the satin ribbon on top of it is an eye catcher. Very pretty. Cute card, love the image and your coloring is perfect for this whimsical treat. Thanks for joining us at Craft-Dee BowZ for our March challenge and I hope you'll join us again! Hugs, Gail
