This is my post on the Sparkle N Sprinkle blog today.
I know for a lot of you it is cold outside and even a bit gloomy!
To cheer you up and bring you a bit of sunshine,
I have a pretty Easter bunny to share with you!
I used the newly released set Spring Bunny.
I wanted my eggs in the set to look like real colored Easter eggs,
so I spritzed water on paper,
then lightly tapped different colors of Nuance on
to give a 'dyed' egg look.
I let the paper dry for a bit, then to hurry it along I used my heat gun
to finish drying it.
A tip though, it to let it dry for a bit first once you have achieved the look you want,
otherwise if still wet, the color will shift, and change the way it looks.
The colors of Nuance used for the eggs are
Once dry, I stamped just the egg sections, then fussy cut out and applied to my already Copic colored image.
I also stamped a few separate eggs (part o fth estamp set) and fussy cut those as well.
I die cut Impression Obsession clouds and added
Sparkle N Soft Twinkling Clouds to one,
the second cloud was embossed with Coffee embossing powder.
I die cut three grass pieces
then using brushable glue, Spirited Green glitter was added.
The extra eggs were placed among the grass.
To finish, I simply added a bit of
Sugar Plum glitter to the flowers
and a 'fluffy' bunny tail!
Thank you for visiting with me today.
I will be back late this month
using some of the same Nuance papers I have show here...
see you then!

I do think this Easter bunny stamp is adorable! You said you wanted your eggs to look like real colored eggs... well, they sure do! Especially the blue egg with the specks. We always had some turn out like that. The best eggs were when I was a kid and we used real food coloring and boiling water. But that's just me being nostalgic.
So darling! Diane, what a great tip about making the eggs look like real colored eggs! They most certainly do, and they are even more beautiful than that! I love the layers of glittery grass and the way you have nestled the eggs into each little crevice! Beautiful coloring, and such a delightful design! hugs, de
This card makes me smile. Love the bunny and the pretty eggs.
