Hugs and Kisses

Today is the first challenge for 2017

for Dies R Us.

Things had a little change there,

now all the designers will be creating 2 cards per month

verses the one card which we normally did.

I LOVE that, it gives me opportunity to use all my dies..lol!

To start the year off the challenge is

'Anything Goes'

as long as you use a die .

Can't get any simpler then that!

I had so many ideas in mind

but I guess I was in the 'stitching' mood

as that was the creative thought of my card!

I started with a SU crumb cake card base.

I die cut a Memory Box Stitched Lattice Background

(sorry this particular one is out of stock)

from another SU paper (not sure of the color as it came in an in-color pack).

Next came the Neat & Tangled Hoop.

What fun this die is and I LOVE the size

I cut the hoop itself from a piece of packaging from Prima.

The little silver piece at the top was cut from a silver metallic.

The inside piece from ivory card stock.

I used a Tutti Designs Nesting Stitched Circles next

and on top that I stamped from SU Hoop La La a tiny cross stitched heart

(told you there was a lot of stitching..lol)

then die cut it with Tutti Designs Nesting Stitched Hearts.

I added one of the newly released word dies from

Tutti Designs Love Word Set

then made a flower from

Poppystamps Stitched Poinsettia Trio.
